Is complaining about custom dice some new fad? I play 2 other miniature games with custom dice (blood bowl and x-wing) and I have literally never heard anyone ever complain about custom dice before warcrow. It really feels like one of those I've decided to not like the game from the start so I'll use anything I can think of to justify that.
Ever since FFG popularized custom dice systems there has been complain about them, likewise when games shifted from D6 to other dice there was and still are complains about it. People like complaining.
Please show me all that Warcrow love, because it for sure isn't showing in the internets (subreddit doesn't even have 1000 members, and that's with all the Infinity people the game probably raked in). I love the minis and I'd love if the game was worth, but everybody I ask about the game tells me it's very mid at best. But yes, saying it's all a conspiracy from some haters is much better.
Show me the game sites not previously collaborating with CB that are saying anything about Warcrow. And this is not trolling but an honest question, because there is like 0 movement about the game online.
Don't be silly, why would either @Benkei or @fari form their own opinions on things when someone else can form it for them? Why if someone says Warcrow is bad on Reddit or 4Chan, Reddit or 4Chan you understand, then how could they be wrong?
@Rabble no I didn't play it and I have no interest to. Ugly generic minis with uninspired design turned me off from the start. All fantasy games played locally that are not of GW make are overwhelmingly played with 3d printed minis and pirated rules. Such is life in Eastern Europe I suppose. But I guess it is different in the US and that is the biggest market, but I believe GW gets most of the money and then CB gets some scraps of that and Warcrow gets scraps from scraps. And that is not a recipe for success. In any case I these are my opinions, I don't care about Warcrow unless it sinks CB which it definitely can if it fails.
ffs, is it possible to have a discussion without insults, personal attacks, and logical fallacies, or is it too much to ask from this forum? And by now both sides are guilty of this, cut this out. We're 1.5 week away from seeing the whole picture. Until then we're largely guessing. From my side I wonder how I'd feel and what my options would be if I'd still play Acon at this point.
It… probably is too much to ask. Better to request a deluge of cash into your account. It’s more likely to happen. Damn. It really is only 1.5 weeks away. Welp. November is almost done. Better get my Christmas shopping done before that turns up.
Never said I want to invest my time in that. But fielding reddit and 4chan,plattforms infamous for their behavior, to point out that there is rarely a good opinion about anything, is neither hard nor objektiv. I can post there that I think today is nice weather and there will be a hundred people shouting the weather is SHIT, I don't have any clue how good weather realy looks like and I am an a*hole f*cker. Then what are we even talking about? Why are we discussing how to dive with people that hate water?
I played WC, both adventures and the wargame. Meh. And the faction i could be interested could not be available until 2 years, so... Pass. Probably it will be easy to find MESBG players if i want fantasy wargaming
You've played Warcrow Adventures...the game that isn't out yet... the game that CB posted as having arrived at its offices this morning... Spoiler
Yes. In TTS. For a review in a podcast with other members. I was playing the lady knight. We vanished Lola from this reality
Okay...lets keep warcrow out of infinity. The game is solid thr miniatures are amazing...and perfect coverage of classic fantasy types. It is honestly a year away from becoming a full game. Right now it is 2 factions ...not fully formed and little to no differentiation between choice in forces that you can play. So no...no huge hype or coverage yet and I would not expect any soon. The discord is quite active...especially with three challenges i mentioned I would have released a battle force for all 6 factions in the first 6 months and then fleshed them out as opposed to roll.out 90% of a faction before moving on to the next, but apparently I may be in the minority on that view.
Unfortunately I don't want to waste neither time nor money when people I trust and that have been playtesting the game tell me it's mid so yes, I'd like more opinions.
