Its funny how everyone seems to consider being better when leaving PanO. Its quite telling I must say...
id rather CB get bent and we lose not sectorials. Theres barely any actual call for it and little room for the faction to loose the few units associated with said faction that cover unique gaps in vanilla. IE: Losing any sect would hurt vanilla PanO unduly
To be clear, I have 0 expectation that we are going to lose anything. I expect that by this time next year PanOceania will be a fully supported 4-Sectorial faction. And it's possible, likely even, that ongoing expansion will mean that the French end up being the only Sectorial which ever goes into "retirement".
I hope that "fully supported" means "we've looked into factions' design and internal balance, and fixed a few things" ;)
Yes, Acontecimento will be leaving Pan-O. It is a done deal. The proof is obvious. There is only one source of smoke in Pan-O, and that is the Guarda de Assalto. Naturally, it must be removed. And of course the entire sectorial with it. Just to be certain. No worries. Pan-O gets to keep the Bolts. CB U after all. Disclosure: I play ASA/SAA, but not vanilla. I would prefer that sectorial stay in Pan-O.
Idk man, if Shock Army went NA2, I'd probably have a reason to buy in. Sprinkle in some Japanese or other Merc units, pull out the Aleph stuff, sounds good to me.
Scylla and Drakios can go die in holes, preferably ones filled with kerosene and ignited However, the Nagas and Teucer are quite nice in ASA. Find reasonable replacements for the latter two and I'd reconcile myself to a move to NAA. However, No JSA stuff. Don't want the Weebs sniffing around any sectorial that I play. Don't like 'em. Wanna smash 'em.
I wish they were actually removing old models, instead of bundling them with new ones ( most recent example new tankhunter hmg + old autocannon tankhunter ). This is totally ridiculous, melt that old shiet and make nice new shiny stuff. You throw away almost nothing, your losses are minimal. Instead they force you to buy fugly old model, just so you could play with your shiny cool looking new one. Honestly, as much as I love CB and do whatever I can to enlarge their player base, I cannot force myself to like this business practice. Also, ASA leaving PanO is crap. It is not happening in the near future. Or ever.
Nah, kerosene won't burn hot enough to smelt them down (not without some serious 02 injection into the combustion chamber). You want propane for that. And a decent crucible (waste not want not) - the metal can always be reused. it's not "destruction" it's recycling. I've done it with some "rare" metal figures over the years (after I've hacked the "different" bits off the stock model.). Doin' the "collectors and speculators" a favour - I've reduced the number of those models out in circulation, and by virtue of doing so, raised the "value" of the remainder.
