Hey all, I have a question about the final main objective of Capture and Protect. The objective in question: "Prevent the enemy from Capturing your Beacon the end (sic) of the game" Which of these interpretations is correct to complete this objective? The beacon is never captured at any point during the match The beacon can be captured during the match, but is not in the captured state at the end of the game Thanks in advance!
I've only seen it played as option 2. Due to the wording of when the beacon is considered captured. I think it should be option 1 at least. But really the whole mission needs a rewrite to be less of a huge swing game massively favoring player 2.
There are a rule that stated how to considered a captured enemy bacon CAPTURED ENEMY BEACON An Enemy Beacon is considered to be Captured by a player as long as that player is the only one with at least one troop (as a model, not a Marker) in base contact with it. Therefore, there cannot be an enemy in base contact with the Beacon. Troopers in a Null state (Unconscious, Dead, Sepsitorized…) cannot do either. so, the beacon have to be captured at the end of the game
Hijacking if I may, On the datatracker element, can I capture the beacon with 1 model (not my data tracker) and pass it to my data tracker before the end of the game to achieve the objective points?
