Yup, that certainly is the case. Remote Presence skill is not a C1 thing.
Then again, there doesn't seem to be a "robotic HI" in C1 before, either.

So, there's a lack of definite proof, but I think the leads present - the "bot" in the name, Hackability, and Structure - seem to suggest a small combat REM.

Of course, we may just as well learn soon that there is no such thing as Sunduqbut at all, and it was just a massive red herring (or a concept that got discarded at some point) :D

Yeah, if we're talking about the leaks, then Bokhtar seems tough and mean. Parachutist with good stats, MSV1, Mimetism -6 and Super Jump - he can be a big problem for all chearleader and even tougher enemies, attacking them out of cover. Dodging on 16 and having Dodge +2" is also great. He will propably have rather high cost, but for a good reason. And having Paramedic is a bit weird, but it's also a cheap specialist option, better than plain "specialist troop", and having some bonuses in certain missions.
Interesting how he's gonna look like in N4.

About the REM - I'm also curious if S2 isn't a mistake. It would be good from playing view, as he'd be easier to hide between other Camo guys. But from a modellers point of view I always wanted a scorpion-like REM, hiding in the sand/in the rocks, and having S3. That would be also more suitable for having Feuerbach or AP SPit with better damage. Still it's one of the most interesting things for me now. Those profiles are looking sweet - like mix of AP Spit with light shotgun? Yes, please! :)
Even despite his really weird WIP 12.

And about Barids - did you see that he got CAMO in Code One? With Mim-3, Surprise Attack and even +1 DAM if I understand correctly. That's a big surprise for me. Maybe that's why she got the hood :D Interesting, if it's only for Code One. The costs - taking in mind the camo - are really low, because a hacker for 1,5 pts or even plain specialist for only 1 pt is really cheap.

Thursday is going to be interesting. And can help me decide about getting the starter ;)

    Good catch. :)

I'd guess that was exactly the point. Make the guy hide among Farzans, Camo Infiltrator Daylamis, and what-not.

Note she has no Advanced Deployment / Infiltration, though.

Also, I don't believe it would be only for C1. Too much difference between how the same troop is intended to be used in C1 and N4 (of course, this implies the Daylami would be Regular-in-N4-now, which would be a lifechanging alteration for them!). Therefore, if the "camo Barid" stays, I guess we're seeing Barids being redefined.

    I'm seeing Mimetism -3, not -6.

Mov 4-4 seems to imply S2 as well. But I like your scorpion idea. That would be very cool.

It's not even remotely close to a Liu Xing. It's basically a more expensive, shittier Crusher that can't Combat Drop. The backpack appears to be representing Super Jump and we all know how mediocre garbag that is, especially on FTO profiles in links that can't jump.

There's a couple of Parachutist profiles otherwise you're looking at an FTO profile with a Red Fury that's never going to see play over an Asawira (because they're never going to reign that fucker in lmao).

After successful operation codenamed Red Veil ;) when RTF managed to move to the Neon Lotus station Al Fasid hidden in a toilet, HB decided to implement a heavy support unit as the deployment of Shakush is not always possible and in this tumultuous times subletly is often not an option. So they bought Karakuri software from Japan but adopted it to run a heavier armed platform that still can be fitted in a standard MC04 container and switched to the battle configuration quickly. That's sunduqbut.

Coming back from hell changes a person. This statement is as truthful as it is inescapable. The question is what they are transformed into. Angels or demons? Monsters or saviors? The Hassassin Society sought to answer this question, and the result were the Hassassin Bokhtar, female agents who have died and returned, only improved, after having gone through the worst possible experience. In the ceremony of the Gudr ( رذگ , “the crossing”), those who aspire to become Bokhtar undergo such a brutal process of induced death and resurrection that not all of them survive it. The candidates—all of them women, because they are the only ones who have a chance of surviving the process—must take a cocktail of psychoactive drugs that plunges them into a state of induced brain death, in which all brain function ceases for a short period of time. This causes the candidate’s psyche, severely affected by the psychoactive drugs, to recoil and confront herself and the unfathomable horror that exists in the gulfs of the human soul. And at the very last moment, just before the process becomes irreversible, thanks to that same drug cocktail the candidates are resuscitated, violently torn from the clutches of death. Or at least, whatever may be left of them is. Generally, the shock of such an experience is powerful enough to break the most adamantine will, but not that of a Hassassin Bokhtar. Through long years of training and meditation, they have become masters of the arts of the first five Subtleties, and the Gudr shall enable them to attain the sixth, the definitive Subtlety. Their strict and profound mystical training prepares them to overcome the trance that will allow them to complete their spiritual development: by dying, suffering through the nightmarish hell hidden within their own souls, and coming back reborn, transformed within the crucible of the most terrible of experiences, having become that which they are named after Bokhtar, “saviors”.
This name is not bestowed upon them in vain, for the Bokhtar are full-fledged Hassassin who are part of the Inner Circle of the Hassassin Society and get their orders directly from the Old Man of the Mountain. Equipped with servo powered armor to enhance their skills, and without Cubes to avoid jeopardizing the secrets of the Hassassin sect, the Bokhtar are often sent on solo missions when the situation is critical and there is no possibility or opportunity to deploy a task force. They can also operate as an elite unit attached to a strike force if the prospects of a mission’s failure are deemed too high. Another role that the Bokhtar can assume is that of a rapid deployment unit, usually as reinforcements for a force already on the ground, at which point they live up to their nickname of “saviors.” Regardless of how mighty a force they must face, they will always overcome. Because nothing can frighten the Bokhtar; they’ve already been through hell and are ready to die once again if necessary. They’re not afraid of death, for they have died already, and they have come back from the other side stronger than ever. The Bokhtar embodies the answer to the question of what is wrought in the crucible of such harrowing experience: angels or demons? The Hassassin Society will reply that they are angels, but their victims will claim they are demons.

That story about the Al'Fasid hiding in a Container outfitted with a toilet still haunts me until today :joy:

Not a container with a toilet, an actual toilet! A porta-potty like you'd see at a building site or festival with an "out of order" sign slapped on the door.

Seems like being nearly killed with special drugs is a pretty high price for new jumpy armor.

Yeah, missing from the fluff is any explanation for how the cultish death ritual actually makes them more effective soldiers in any way.

It just says they're "not afraid of death," so I guess... Courage is their special, unit-defining skill?

This is my gripe, the Bohktar fluff really doesn't make much sense from a psychological sense. If you saw death and it was absolute hell, why the balls would you NOT BE AFRAID?? I like the unit, I don't like the fluff. My favorite Hassassin fluff remains the Shujae.

I don't think I've read the Shujae one. The Govad fluff is still a contender for one of the worst though IMO.

Hey look, another Tac Aware profile that cannot use their Tac Aware order.

Maybe there should be a consideration to look back at the FAQ ruling so that the rules match the intent of the design?

Can you explain why she can't use her Tac Aware order? I don't understand.
