I'd go with bright and obnoxious colors for the food truck. Probably blue or green roof to evoke the clay roofing tiles in China and Japan.
Thanks everyone for the nice words. The board itself is made by Miniature Scenery from Australia but can also be sourced from Every Little War if you're in the US. The buildings and signage are all from Knights of Dice, also Australian. I bought them all at once so I could get free shipping. The holographic trees and shrubs are from Every Little War but I think they're made by Jackal Laser Designs from Australia. I'll get some photos of the board with models on it this week. My brother and I are christening the table with a Black Friday battle. Ikari Company vs JSA, should be fun trying to kill his Shikami as it leaps rooftop to rooftop.
Noble Knight will be carrying KoD in the USA soonish, to make getting their stuff easier for you former colonial folks ... :D

That is *very* good news! I've been wanting to buy some Knights of Dice stuff, but the shipping from Aus has been prohibitive.
Not to rain on your parade but I live ten minutes from Noble Knight and I was the person who emailed (persistently) Noble and KoD about stocking their kits. That was several months ago and according to the purchasing manager at Noble, they can’t get KoD to respond to their emails anymore...

Scott Reid from KoD posted it in their fb group (that he'd sent off their order) a couple of weeks ago. Miniature scenery is available through "Every little war", too. Shipping international (especially to/from the USA) has been prohibitive since early 2002 (post 9/11 change) Mail/parcels into/out of the USA can only go via air freight (instead of taking up spare room in passenger flights as they used to). For us, this means it uses the FedEx/UPS fleet, 3 times a week, instead of daily.
