Newest addition to my Yu Jing army. This is frustrating because after I had done the base and the initial highlights, I tried to fire up the airbrush compressor and it died. Have the thing for 11 years and now its dead! RIP compressor. So all my NMM had to be done by hand. Let me know what you all think. Also my brushes feel flimsy like there is no spring to them, its like Kolinsky sables are not making the same hairs.

So not painted by me, but by the studio that did my other aleph. They inverted the colors.

This Studio went out of business, it was called Dark Bunny Studios, but I found one of their painters and reached out to him and he agreed to finish my Aleph army.

Very nice, I like the green armour blending from black to highlight, well done.
Did you glue the base layers together before painting, or did each bit separately?

To Answer your question I glue the models on a regular base and paint them. I have a bunch of the space ship bases already painted. I glue those together prime them and paint like 10 at a time.

Working on the next mini for my Yu Jing this is a WIP. upload_2025-11-11_20-35-17.png
