Trust me I know who he is. He's been a bad faith troll since the old forum.
I still think this is apple's and oranges here. I play both in their factions and I'm not expecting one to so the other's job just because they're s5.
The ratnik runs in and wrecks up the place. The extra pseudo wound makes said wrecking take more to bring down. Duo let's him bring a friend as he's usually using orders to run up the table. He's shorter range so if he had the blackjack's 4-2 movement he'd be in a terrible place.
The blackjack is a brick s**thouse in a sectoral that I've found bleeds orders by being a no frills durability game. He's baby maggy. We're just tough enough, just shoty enough to make every inch of the midfield a costly slog to grind through.
That said I don't know if there's much concrete info on how much is changing in N4, and if the sectorals are getting radical overhauls or if they're going for edits in the overall game for the heavy lifting. This is a patch while its11 runs it's course.
Says the guy getting constant "likes" from A Mao Esquerda, literally the exact thing you're accusing me of.
Chaleira ou caçarola, minha filha? And the “ã” is simple, so you can get my name right. Alt-0227 or press and hold “a” on an iOS device.
You do realize that these are people that create this game? They are artists and have a vision of how they want to proceed with their game. In addition, they run a business that must balance improving old sectorial’s while creating new and exciting products to sell. They must make payroll and have limited resources. Just because you don’t approve of the changes, doesn’t make them “fucking idiots” and their efforts “a bunch of laziness.” Your comments do, without a doubt, show that you are an asshole. Sorry moderators for breaking the rules. I can’t stand people disparaging other peoples intentions.

im probably in the dissenting opinion, but for the most part the USARF changes are positive.
While I would like more development of USARF given its a fairly limited sectorial, these changes at least breathe life into the Minutemen, which never really had a role given their cost before. Now however they do opperate as a good pointman option for a Grunt link.
Additionally the presence of Wildcard on the Unknown Ranger lets him opperate as a Haris/Core leader for sweet sweet BS13/16 B5 Mimetic shots, a serious swing potential that can be worth the high buy in cost of the UR. while it doesnt alieviate his weakness to shock it does mean we can finally have the guy with the big gun and shield leading a team of MI into the teeth of things. He'll fit well with either HFT spamming Grunts or Marauders.
Wildbill is a bit take or leave, an interesting character but one that strikes me as existing more for flavour than role. hes not bad, but like Mushashi you probably need to go out of your way to use him.
on the whole Id rate the update 3.5/5 stars, it would be nice with a bit more of a rework, but none of the options its given us are "bad" and at least 1 addresses one of the biggest issues faced by USARF through the medium of giving us access to a High Burst, High BS weapon for relatively cheap buy in.
Good man for being positive. I agree, this was about as good as we could expect without a full strip-down and rebuild of the Sectorial.
Only point I disagree with you on is Wildbill. He's mah boi in Grunt links. He's got a level of resilience you don't see much in USARF. Having a Cube means your 112 can re-roll WIP on him to pull him out of NWI if you lose a F2F roll, which is a risk I'd be loathe to take with UKR, who is nearly double the points and is allergic to Doctor rolls.
He's let down a little by the Rifle range bands (which is why I put either a Grunt Sniper or HMG in the link, as well) but I think his points-to-output ratio is pretty sweet.
UKR is gonna be boss for "the armoury".
Take a Harris of flamers in with you and he can shoot his way up to the room, kick the door in, grab whatever he wants from the panoplies and can clear the room or hold the room reasonably well too
I can't help but think that if the UKR was as important as a self-insert character like Cuervo he'd have Shock Immunity.
Overall, though, these changes are very good for USARF. USARF wasn't a *bad* sectorial prior to this, just not as flashy as TAK, so this update adds a little power and a lot of options. I will probably be running my Americans a lot in ITS XI.
Kanluwen still being able to post here after all this time and all the vulgar language, trolling and abuse of other users is all the proof we need to know this forum has zero moderation and all they care to do is @psychoticstorm pretending that his red text and finger wagging matter to the trolls at all.
He'd have been temp- and then permabanned a long time ago on even the most relaxed hobby forums.
I don't know if that is a dissenting opinion (except for maybe Kan). I don't think anyone is saying some of these changes weren't needed, just we were just hoping for a little more. Like it is doubtful that CB isn't aware of the 2 main problem units in the sectorial as they are well documented in nearly every thread, list, and sales.(though I say Devil Dogs as well :P). Last year they gave a massive buff to the two units everyone actually uses in the ITS rules. USARF is one of the more popular factions out there according to the numbers. So I almost feel like bravery was written specifically for USARF.
N4 is right around the corner. (projected for summer next year). Talking to Guiter at NOVA, he is said the team has a ton of work ahead of it and they are doing their best to get to that deadline, but they have to play test a bunch of factions. So it makes sense that this is a patch for N4 and not really a full update. The buffs will certain help us be competitive and allow us to vary our lists. The one thing I was really hoping for though is a better way to do LI, which none of the buffs really addressed. But that will have to wait until N4.
I think you are under estimating what Wild Bill can bring to the team as well. To add to what Musterkrux said, that marksmanship level 2 in a link is massive. One of our main difficulties with USARF is dealing with in cover linked MSV2 snipers. If you get within 16 with Wild Bill, his rifle will eat them for lunch. Take the dreaded linked Kamau Sniper, nearly every option for fighting them at range is a very bad gamble. AP HMG MM in a full link at the good range band is at 43% dead Kamau 33% dead MM. Full link Marauders with HRL is 55% to 20 %. For Wild Bill, the number is 61% to 14%.
And that Wild Bill Grunt link can came in full equipped at 94 points (AP HMG MM, Flamer Grunt, Paragrunt, FO Grunt, Wild Bill) vs Full Marauder link of 118 (HRL Molotok, Flame Flame Shotty).
And I'm sick of "they're artists!" as an excuse for less than stellar work. It's been happening for quite some time.
By that same vein, improving old sectorials in a meaningful manner would encourages sales of existing items.
Limited resources is on them. They've stated, publicly, that they keep the company small for tax purposes.
So we're clear:
The "fucking idiots" part is in reference to them and their constant whining about SKU bloat while doing things like missing out on exceedingly easy arm swap models.
Unknown Ranger has two sculpts currently, one for each profile. The Chain of Command profile with Rifle(which was put on his back, mind you), was a GenCon exclusive a few years back while the Specialist Operative with Molotok in hand is the general release one.
They literally locked one profile out from everyone beyond converting as a convention exclusive.
My note of their efforts as "a bunch of laziness" stands. They're not doing anything major with these revamps, and that was even before they announced N4. I'm not expecting full up profile redesigns, huge point drops or anything like that...but they could do more than just these token "NOW YOU CAN MIX FIRETEAMS!!!!!111!".
And I can't stand people who do nothing but mental gymnastics to create excuses for someone who doesn't really care about them beyond the money they spend.
So we're clear: it's not "the age of the frontier and the wild west" that CB was pushing with the Desperadoes and Hardcases. The first artwork we got of Desperadoes had them with confederate flags painted onto the bikes and them talking about "outlaw biker culture" and Hardcases being "preppers".
For you, the connotations might not be there--but for me? That gets dangerously close to skirting some lines that really shouldn't be toyed with.
And that doesn't even factor in the "bUt tHeY hAvE tHe LaSt CoKe fAcToRy!!11!" nonsense. At least the Coke factory thing can be handwaived as Coke having been a 'sponser' of the colonization effort.
You can tell how dissapointed you are, obviously. But there's no reason to call us "fucking idiots".
If I was any better at converting i would give all of my USARf guys cowboy hats, every last one
I for one welcome our libertarian forums.
I wish I could have single Moblot HMG join a metro link ...
Well, one could argue we already have Jacques Bruant and hacker in a link (damnit I love this old MRRF too much for my own good).
I completly agree with that. And he is not the only one ...
I'm soo super glad we have or own french speaking forum with a much more relaxed and friendly atmosphere I can show to newcomers. But for English speaker I fear it can deter some people to engage into the community. The toxicity of a few is very annoying.
Ye, USARF is pretty ok, just needed a couple of tweaks on the profiles, but this is a welcome update.
Kan has always been a grumpy Gus, he's actually not as bad as in the old forums.
Anyway, I'm excited to run a grunt link with one single grunt
