Thank you :) Of course! I basecoated the green parts with VGC Scurvy Green (on black primer) and gradually brightened it up to pure VGC Foul Green. And for the highligts, mostly on the edges, I added some VMC Ivory into the pure Foul Green. :)
Cool! I will try foul green. I already have a dark green that's somewhat close to scurvy green. Thank you!
Quite a Time ago I might've somewhere posted my interim Daemonist proxy comprising my old Hacker Moira and a Kaauri. Well, because this never seemed a fit for the observance them I just finished my actual proxy yesrerday: I converted one of the devil's (Aleph) little helpers into a mantis clawed watch dog :)
Also, because my hopes are high that StarCo will be resurrected in about a ¾ soonTM I mustered my motivation to eventually finish my painting project from late N4 ago: The Diggerabla! She'll serve as my second Digger and will be a suitable Diablo-Proxy in Corregidor, should I ever play the Convict Cruiser's inmates in a real life game And as you can see both the Diablo and her forme a quite cute pair on the table, in every of the two armies
Thank you :) The yellow really pops thus the two Diggers became quite visible in my display Thanks to that!
Well well well... its already November and lo and behold something happened during last special month! I painted some ORCs for ORCtober! And because I was in the flow I thought expanding the Essentials PanOs might be a good idea (also I had two of the three additions sitting around half painted for two years). And because every good Essentials Set needs Trooper Cards I made those as well :) Furthermore, because every villainous polished Hyperpower needs an adequately antipodial antagonist it felt veeeery appropriate to bring the recently resurrected good guy scruffy mercenary underdogs from StarCo quite literally on the table! Of course also fully equipped with their own cards (of course for both sets I took some liberties in terms of available Hacking Programs, Special Skills or profile availability etc. to fit them more to my taste of demo games): On a side note, you might already have heard about 2nirvana's trooper card generator project (@Wizzy probably posted something somewhere?!) https://infinity.2nirwana.de/cards/ with the goal to provide beginners with an easy tool to create pictured Trooper cards of their played lists as an game aid. the thing is, most of the Trooper pictures are missing because thse pice need to be catalogued by hand. I did that for almost all of the Nomad Profiles btw. And 2nirvana (you can find him on the unofficial infinity discord) also mentioned that he'd like to add painted miniatures from the comminity for this (having your awesome paintjobs in mind @archangeleong, @burlesford ). .
Thanks to that! For the Brawlers' hemets I used the old trick of black paint an gloss varnish for perfect reflections all the time Also since I'm talking of all the time: just recently I made the decision to send my old Daktari Model into retirement (being on the table for almost every game over a decade has its toll) and thus I painted her replacement Doctor Say Hello to Mr. Daktari, demigod in white with a crate full of MediKit juice!
