other than that they are the latest aleph release i've noticed almost no talk about them.
    are they not worth it?

I like them. It’s tough though, because they are sitting in an army that has some really strong options for similar similar costs. If you see a lot of TAGs and HI, having the two e/marats attached to your solid gunfighter is awesome. Against other armies, they can be a little less potent.

I like the marksman rifle, so of course that’s the model we don’t get. But the spitfire can definitely dish out punishment whether or not the bots will be able to shut anything down.

This old thread had a lot of support for them.
    https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/arjunas-place.26063/

Personally, I haven't run them due to a dislike of the models, not remembering the stats correctly, and feeling the best exploit of them was a actual loophole, not intended.
    1) Model wise, the different Dakini look for the Kiranbots isn't bad, but I really don't like the flying saucer helmet on the arjuna, so I haven't gotten the box.
    2) Mimetism and Arm 3 makes them more survivable than I had remembered, and decent attack turn units. I had thought they were Danavas defensively for some reason.
    3) The recommended Assisted fire exploit to make the Kiranbot's e-marat Lethal always struck me as violating the intent of the weapon, even though it's been ruled legal for N3.

They're class. The two boys with the large chain rifle templates are disposable corner holders in an army that really doesn't want to be out on aro duty due to high cost. Em is a very potent weapon and can shut down a lot of Rambo's. On the offensive they're just as good as they can force crappy AROs

I find her extremely expensive with her having forward deployment lvl1 but her bots not having it. she and her bots don't have a camo state like scylla does. This means her bots (and her who wants to be behind them) have a problem getting up the table where she wants to be. i brought up scylla because the multiple repeater bots with template weapons and her with a shotgun are pretty similar build concepts. I just think arjuna is the weaker version.

while the em+shock is interesting, either the target is terrified of flamethrower, or is hackable and is terrified of the repeater the bot has, either way scylla's bot is equal or more terrifying to the enemy then arjuna's imho. this is excluding the cybermines, but i personally haven't had those weapons do good work yet, and so might be vastly underestimating them.

I personally feel like the arjuna is one of the best units in OSS. 3 Great sets of weapons, flexibility in how many support bots to bring. BS12 with Mimetism is a solid gun fighter and they're a specialist. They do a little bit of everything great. I ended up having to avoid taking them for a while because I was maxing out the ava every game.

@El tito Zylito I don't understand what you're trying to say. E/Marat aren't Technical weapons and E/M ammunition is a lethal one, even if it doesn't deal damage by itself.

E/marats don't contain any of those traits that invalidate marksman skill.
