Aristeia 2.0 is coming

- He noticed that the guy with the white/purple aleph colors was Musashi.

Changes?
- I’m purely going off the game picture here but some things are clearly the same, some are not, some we can’t tell.

The same
- There are still 4 characters a side.
- You still have activation cards which are hidden
- There are still hexes!
- The map is still exactly the same layout (see below)
- There are still 7 scoring zones
- Scoring zones are still 7 hexes
- The blocked spaces (pillars and walls) are still in the same places. Initially I thought it was different but If you look closely you’ll see it’s the same!
- There are still symbol dice
- There are still a hand of cards
- Models still have Circular bases
- Move and Energy is still a thing

Different
- The central symbol is now an H not a A! (it looks like an S because there is a token on the centre)
- The character cars are now landscape not portrait
- The map has extra detail drawn on
- The dashboards are now flush with the sides rather than the points.

Not sure
- Characters look like they have less abilities on cards, but hard to tell
- Now way of knowing if the rules or characters have changed, but looks similar
- Is there a second side to the board?

Corvus Belli has unveiled a trailer for the new edition of Aristeia! now called Infinity Hexadome Legends. As a big fan of the original game, I can't wait to check it out and had to share my impressions of what we saw in the video.

I never had the chance to do the 1st edition and now i'm hyped to get into it. I just had to much going on with the 1st and money was not there. Now I can and will. I just hope the figures are better though. That was something I didn't like with 1st. They were just not up to Infinity standards in my opionion.

- Dice are still D6 (same colors) with some minor changes

There are 2/3 who wondered if there would be a conversion kit but V did not answer these questions, so it is possible that there is nothing planned on this subject.

First feedback :

[08:43]Nanferun: Totally useless old Aristeia, but here's some information I got directly from one of the designers of Interplanetario in case any of you need it.
The dice are different
The character cards are now bigger
New 2-character boxes, one "old" and one new every 3-4 months
The states have been reworked and unified (new states have also been added)
The hexadome layout is the same
The game guide has been revamped and simplified, so it's now useful instead of a bit messy
They want to keep both the PC game and the online board game as close as possible
No update packs or anything like that planned for the old edition

Gravitypool, the warcor from Barcelona, made a first video on the interplanetario (there will be 3, here it will be the overall experience, then there will be a video on his infinity tournament and on the news), however he touches a little on some news and the tournament. I have a summary with screenshots but he has lots of images including videos.

Gravitypool demoed Aristeai 2, so he has some information.
He said the figures were prototypes, so we'll see how they turn out in the end. In any case, he already told us that it won't be the same material as the prototype, which is here made of resin (probably Siocast), so be careful not to get carried away like with Aristeai v1, which was teasing with metal figures. CB said it would be plastic.
He also said that Maximus was taller than the old one, so we could also see a new, larger scale in Aristeai v2, which is also in line with what they're doing in Infinity, where the new figures are larger on average. Gravity spoke with V and Alberto, and they told him that the Musashi in The Hexaome wouldn't be the same character as the old one, who is a fugitive. Thus, the lack of a mustache and the fact that he doesn't have the same face reflect this state of great replacement by Aleph, who removed a new one. This led him to say that this opens the door for him, for Aleph to bring back Achilles and the rest.

V explained during the demos the changes that were going to be made; it gave him the impression of a revised and corrected Aristeai:
- The dice are changing, and the dice will now only have one blank side on each die, even the black ones. There will still be the usual symbol system with the !s.
- There are changes to character initiatives to increase their range; there are characters with lower and higher initiatives. - Status effects have been changed so that they can no longer be removed without first being affected.
- It's more dynamic, there are more tactic options, but the rest of the basic gameplay remains the same.

The Arachnet blog has made a return to Interplanetario; the author is also on the beta team. It's in German, but it translates very well on Edge, which auto-translates with DeepL.
