I am planning on using the Zenit-7 cause because of the decoy it does look the same as Vasilly in camo state. Now that Vassily is 4-4 I planning to use him as an aggresive LT. Or even do a Vet Kazak Lt and Vassily plus Zenit 7 as Chain of Command. As long as I can keep one of them save, I can be aggresive with the rest of them.
Assuming it's not a typo and the Polaris Team bear can take cover, the Polaris Team bear looks like it would be a treat to run. Eminently controllable, very able to trade with/ignore Adhesive/Flash pulses that can bog down our other pieces. It's even 1 point less than the BearPode with the Heavy Shotgun (who is irregular and impetuous). Unless you're running a limited insertion/really value the solo bear's Heavy Shotgun (and 11 BS), my initial preference is for the BearPode + handler. 2 regular orders > 1 irregular + impetuous. I also think Ariadna will very much have to lean into combat options (SAS/Total Immunity Warbands) to take down all these 8 ARM, -6 Mimetism Tags that just got a fair bit cheaper.
@ijw Is this intended? Why can't a Berserk troop now use it while already (or still) in combat, only on the "charge"?
He indicated on Facebook that it's been flagged for review, but currently the RAW is that Berserk is only effective "on the charge".
Not useless. Just limited. Its in reality a better assault but as a normal roll. I hope it gets FAQ'ed as well or just give those units that only have berserk NBW ( if it makes sense to do so on a case by case basis) so that they can continue to have a fighting chance while in CC against these MA heavy armies. Like JSA and MO.
Does anyone think the expected shift to Guided Missile Meta will bring the Traktors in from the cold? They are cheap Guided attack platforms, but they are worthless at anything else and Ariadna barely has access to hacking and about 0 repeaters. If you have a lot of FOs though I could see that it might be worth spending an extra 4pts to take a Katyusha in your Traktor Mul order farm, but I'm not sure about 11pts to get the AP+Shock from Uragan and I don't know if the just DA Katyusha will cut it.
I am not sure I will. If we had a missile i would consider it. it is just going to be too order intensive with not enough payout, most of the time i would rather shoot i think. We don’t have the orders we used to anymore :/. there may be some list where you want a few more extra orders and the Muls are the way to go. But i think the muls are best used when hitting a clump of guys. In that scenario i would consider doing for the FO into guided. But it is likely plan C for me. After AD or camo rambo. Or even just shoving a dog up their butt.
Yeah, it feels like you might spend the 4 pts IF you already run a Traktor order farm AND have two or three FOs in your list, but it isn't something you base anything around.
You said it already. Without a reliable way to spotlight the enemy in their turn, there is no reason to bring them.

The ancient low tech is the best, designed for low silhouette, ai sighting/control on side so not exposed atop, auto cannon with feeds for manual loading behind stand-off armour (on long range patrols) This-is a proxy. (Being air dropped, then used air bags on top filled with dirt for top appliqué camo/armour. Note the alien head trophy covering the control sights. Combined Army beware.
