The point is not him being chinese, the point is that he was fabricated to be a hero. In that sense he is less impressive than Rao, and Rao's qualifications as a hero are being slightly smarter than the average PanO and finding a way to troll supply to avoid paying the Light Shotgun Tax. Xi is cool, tho. But we don't know anything about him. His life, his desires, his struggles, his ruined marriage, we only have his fabulous hair.

Not to sound harsh, but I truly hope that everyone that has real issues with CB actually use their power as a consumer/customer, namely: stop buying the products. Just like every other product, your biggest power as a consumer is to stop buying products you don’t like. Not petitions, angry emails or midnight phone calls to Bostria where you breathe heavily. Everyone complaining about the product has to realize that simply whining isn’t constructive and does not yield results, either be constructive or do not buy the product. Some might say it’s harsh, but look at EA and battlefront. Other people might say that it’s not a police state forum and they can whine because they want to vent. Sure, that’s fine. But consider this: This is a speculation thread. It’s purpose is to speculate, hope, hype and look towards the horizon with hopeful eyes. I don't consider Dire Foes as characters because they got 0 backstory, tho this could change next book. And no, i don't consider a glorified toaster programmed to be a shadow of a real character as Chinese nor a hero, as it lacks the trappings of a hero, namely you know... doing heroic things or being someone by himself and not by design.

The CSU is doubly annoying since both sculpts have been LE in boxes. You can buy "a ninja", you can buy "an Oyori pilot", there's no general release CSU.

That's very subjective and not very relevant when it comes to a debate about how much CB has or hasn't fucked his customers.
I love how selective people are when trying to conform to a narrative. I do agree that limited edition models such as the CSU should have a general release within 6 months of a LE release. But keep in mind, for what the CSU is, almost any light infantry model works as totally acceptable proxies.
