I assume the book is designed to put some flesh on these new mercenary bones, because right now they just look like a jumble of units, no matter how excited Carlos appears to be. If so, good, people have been slavering after a Merc faction for years. Definitely not my thing though, and this may be the first time I pass on an Infinity book as there doesn't appear to be anything in it for me. That's ok though, I'll just twiddle my thumbs and wait for Tunguska.
Why? It's not like people make any effort to distinguish between comments by concerned YJ players and moaning. Why should I bother?
They look grab-baggy because the unit icons are all from the original armies If they did a thing like how Alguaciles in QK get their own green icon with some arabic on it, it'd be more cohesive. I think that's literally the only thing I would have changed, new unit icons for all troops in these particular Sectorals, or at least a universal colour scheme. This is all great news though, very excited. Super pumped to play all these Sectorals and gives me a reason to get the JSA box beyond thinking "ooh I might play JSA" as I already have plenty of the Ikari Company stuff.
And effective BS15 in 5 man link ;D I think we should follow the JSA naming convention when talking about PanO BS xD

I never doubted that. I was just saying... at first glance... it looks a bit scattered. Like Shiwen said maybe its the clashing logos that is throwing me off. I am not in any way saying its shit or useless garbarge. Was just commenting on first impressions.
In terms of army composition Ikari and StarCo are just uninspiring. It's the "let Yu Jing mix their old units" sectorial and the "Outrage needed a home I suppose" sectorial. Druze on the other hand has the cohesive look to be interesting, basically I just feel they're missing a single unit to make them perfect in terms of unit distribution and variety.
What makes you think any of these other factions are getting hit by shit at all? Nothing was said in that video about any of the Haq/Nomad model options leaving their factions like JSA.
I never said factions were getting hit. People (some people) is getting mad at corvus for making these sectorials.
I think it's a safe bet that Uprising will provide the context we're missing for Ikari Co. and StarCo... whereas Druze had an article and a manga to explain it, and JSA has this week, articles, etc. I think that would have been neat, but I've also heard a lot of new players comment on how it can be difficulty to find the trooper you want if you haven't memorized the logo.

Infinity Army should default to vertical style so you can read the names of units, that made life so much harder for my group when we started than it needed to be.
