They ain't even out yet and we are already roasting the hell out of them..... welp i hope yall don't mind if i join in.
Ikari company look interesting karakuri ava 2 no link- but why? druze link is cool al fasid being there is really cool Brigada+daktari+massacre link.....
We actually got crocman repack which is nearly the same. Old crane is pretty good(unlicke crocman). All previous ITS packs had 1 mini, now you have 2 whats the problem?)
Its not a new ITS pack. It is a limited special narrative tournament pack. With a new O Yoroi which is nice (even if I hate this repose) and an old mini (which is not nice). They could have just not put the Crane on there. Or put a Hsien. Or something else. Not an old mini that doesn't even fit with the new IS aesthetic. Also, this is not the first pack to have two minis, previous season's TAGline Limited Narrative pack had 2 minis, Eduardo and a Samaritan. With the Samaritan at the very least being a recent sculpt.
Well, CSUs in FT, this is something unexpected. I think NA2 will be really refreshing and something good for those who have so many different armies, unlike me. The Ikari could be a good way for YJ players with JSA minis to keep playing Chinese and Japanese units together with just one or two models or boxes to buy. I can't wait for stomping all those NA2 armies with the legs of my PanO TAGs.
Ikari and Starco have blown me away. Not only can I now field Emily and Uhahu as non-proxies, but I can also buy units I've always liked by themselves, but not the factions they were imbedded into (hello, Avicenna and Yuan Yuan). Oh, and I can finally get some Desperados and Hardcases who I've never managed to fit into my (mostly Khazak) Ariadna.
Now it is my time to whine then. StarCo and Ikari is just one huge DISAPPOINTMENT. They take concept of mixed army way to much, like unbound armies in 40k or AoS. Wasn`t expecting such from CB. Even they have smoke. One more thing is that starco can make special MB fireteam and corregidor can`t do that. wtf?
Exactly this. Looks like CB found a good way to increase sales of their miniatures outside of sectorials and without having to design new models. Good business move... GW style!
CJC also can't take Emily, or Uhahu, or Avicenna or Riot Grrls or Hardcase... it's a mix of units from across the sphere, looking to do different things.
I think that NA2 are designed to be more flexible in their list constructions than other ones BUT will lack some or most of the high-end technologie that the others can use.
I really like idea of mixed mercenary companies. Also chance to use Uhahu and Emily not as proxies is great. Now I have to convert another Alguacil hacker instead of Uhahu))))
Avicenna and Riot Grrl's also have fireteam special but Bostria didn't mention their fireteam. Maybe Avicenna in a Riot Grrl link?
Really happy with NA2 stuff. But was hoping for more shakeup of other factions because apparently I want everyone to hate me or something. Glad Bostria mentioned that JSA counted as one of the 5, not because I wanted them to be but at least now it's clear that there are 4 others.
Well, the concept is nice, but I don't find these particular mixes very interesing. Maybe they'll grow on me later, but at this point I'm more interested in how the final JSA lineup will look like, what and what changes to existing sectorials we'll see later this year. Also, what's with the complaining that CB follows in the GW footsteps? What is it, Dakka?
My thought exactly. Logic-wise it's really strange. Yeah, I'm PanO and yeah I'll complain, but what the hell? PanO-made REMs that can form mixed fireteams with mercenaries, but can't do that in PanO? Really? (1) Another two armies that get smoke to cover advance and specialists and fire through smoke combo. Really? (2)
@Monkeysloth I'd bet that two of those four would be the Nomad tunguska and the Yu Jing Invincible Army sectorial. But after those I don't have a clue.
Well, Clipper will be able to link with Wu Ming. That's some shit neither PanO lobyy nor Emperor dreamed about xD (Friendly Fire suddenly has whole new meaning)
