No, CB can draw data from Infinity army and to some extend the forum and to customer feedback, not what people do not save as a list to try, but given the forum and FB comments it is relatively safe to assume that the data correlates with reality, Kitsune, Oniwaban, Raiden been the 3 complains about functionality, Keisotsu and Tokusetsu for their point saving and rarely someone complaining about Aragoto hacker, surprisingly or not after all these days complaining today we had the first mention of Karakuri.
Putting it like that sure sounds like you got hit hard. Which is quite funny, really. Because CB thinks you didn't. And so does most of the Forum population, including some YJ players. We can start a poll if you want some numbers. Gutier did a good job on the article. None of the unjustified demands, some salty individuals claim to be entitled to, got so much as a note. Not a single fuck was given this day and I for one appreciate this. They planned it, they announced it, they went through with it. Because they wanted to. And that's actually all they need as a reason. Just stop buying their stuff if you feel that strongly about this incident.
That`s an example of really bad balance in CHA. Sectorial can`t rely on single character model, it`s ridiculous.
You mean people can chose to stop buying a luxury product if they disagree with the direction? What a novel idea!
Why did they even bother with the article then? Since the whole purpose of the article supposedly was to allay yu jing fears of where they wioll stand after the split. Continually being strung along isnt a great feel.
So you're pre-emptively disregarding the counterargument? Like it or not, that's how it is. You've got your head in the sand. Yu Jing had Kitsune + Oniwabans in that role, though, so it wasn't a single character.
But they did. Have you you even read the article? What they didn't do (and what the vocal YJ folks demand) is giving them free shit ahead of schedule. I don't approve of everything CB does. They do fuck op sometimes... or a lot depending on the scale you want to compare it to. But I'm more than satisfied with the over product. As a friggin PanO player at that .... yes "we can't have nice things" PanO, those guys. The we've been salty before it was cool Faction. However I'm also a YJ (and now JSA) player, but first and foremost a Infinity player in general. And from that guy's point of view I gotta say take your damn opinion and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Because that is my opinion on the matter. I'd rather see JSA Exrah'd than to see CB cave and give reparations to guys behaving like this. Good riddance.
I appreciate the removal of JSA opening design space for YJ. I don’t appreciate the fluff portraying the StateEmpire on the level of a villain from Captain Planet. I also don’t appreciate being told that taking issue with the fluff or that wanting to know that a plan exists for the faction that got me into the game is filthy entitlement and I should just fuck off and stop playing.
So there you have it, as per @Teslarod 's post the people saying that we should stop complaining just want us to have less. It's spite. That's honestly worse than I thought; I assumed it was just people with groupthink mentality seeing CB as the highest authority in the room and constantly following the party line. Fuck, I don't even play YJ and I think that's horseshit.
This was an entirely fluff article. The only thing approaching anything to do with mechanics is the discussion about the ninjas and co which we already knew. People dont want fluff they want crunch, I imagine most people are fine with the overall Fluff (genocide not withstanding) but are shitty because of shitty communication on the future. Other than bostria saying this year is dark for yu jing and go play iss theres nothing for the how and much more importantly when the holes in the yu jing roster will be filled. People dont want "free shit ahead of schedule" they just want to know what the fuck is going on.
Personally I do not see any portrayal of the state empire as the comical villain, I think that is readers projection on the fluff. I do not think I have said there is no problem with the fluff, I have said you do not know what the fluff is and feel free to debate me on it once you read it, that will take a bit of a time though.
I honestly have no counter to this other than that your English reading comprehension must be terrible. Or you missed the quote by the Crane agent that's been bandied about.
Or as many other posters have pointed out do not see what you see in it. You see it as somebody shooting civilians in walls I see it as somebody propagandising at the expense of the civilians caught in the crossfire in an intimidation campaign. And since it is mentioned in the article guess what? they did not kill all the Japanese that did not manage to escape, the vast majority of them, no mass graves, no shooting in alleys, they have them under understandable surveillance, what a cartoonish villain eh? And yes the ISS is a "terror weapon", they are not "a mere police force" they are an legal enforcement army.
