I agree, that was my point. The thing that makes the Uprising fluff look bad is that Yu Jing had no geopolitical allies during the whole brouhaha.
There are a total of five human factions, ALEPH and the Tohaa. Who would have been their ally? It makes as much if not more sense for them to be isolated.
Lets see Ariadnas want every faction off their planet and the sovereignty of their planet for themselves, what makes you think that they would accept the creation of a new nation that by default claims a part of their planet as theirs? It is entirely within their character, motivation and logic to not acknowledged the new Japan and more importantly their claims of Kurage station as their territory. now if my joking depiction of Ariadna as a battle hardened old veteran sighing over the new kids making a ruckus in his garden and shouting "get off my lawn" (probably while shooting his shotgun) upset you, I am sorry I find it funny.
I like this idea but I guess it depends on remaining yu jing holdings on dawn compared to japanese. So why would ariadna be a passive observer to whats going on then instead of actively trying to deal with yu jing, help in exchange for fucking off from dawn or at least reducing presence there.
Anyone who wanted to prevent PanO from gaining an advantage. The balance of power between PanO and Yu Jing is important for all the minor factions.
Or, since YJ has been on a winning streak against PanO, to keep YJ from getting too headstrong, go against YJ.
Passive? they refuse to acknowledge everybody's foothold on Dawn, moreover why would Yu Jing leave Dawn, it has Tasseum and their territories in contrast with Kurage territory have rich veins.

Surely ariadna can see that yujing being weakened means that pano, the other power with the most motive to start shit on dawn is only going to get stronger. I would have thought they would have at least tried to deal.
Yeah, kicking Yu Jing too hard doesn't make too much sense for Ariadna. They are the only sure tool they have for keeping PanOceania in check.
Yup, and apparently PanO did a bunch of stuff on Dawn during uprising, including reoccupying old bases from the wars they fought there to take Ariadnan land, and Ariadna did... nothing, because nothing is allowed to get in the way of the Glorious Weeb Revolution...
Plus Yu Jing attacked the base, so why bother attacking. In General Ariadna do not want anybody on their planet and allying with any of the two means they must allow them to have recognised settlements on Dawn.
Option: YJ leaks which places will it attack to Ariadna, Ariadna attacks the rest. No alliance, just coordination, and more pressure to JSA.
I am surprised that ariadna hadnt rigged that Pano base to blow for when they did try to come back. Looking like an accident of course.
Or filled it full of Antipode mating hormones so they'd be attacked by 9001 horny, angry werewolves...
