Adepticon+Gencon 2023: Many projects

If it’s anything like gaslands I’m going to have to get it. Goddamn it. I’m trying to save money this year.

 

It's a more casual/family friendly version of Gaslands from what I've seen, ready to play out the box and less deep customisation. From what people at Adepticon said it'll be good to play at the pub or with my mate's kids.

La empresa Corvus Belli se dedica al diseño y producción de juegos y miniaturas. Esas miniaturas son sin duda lo único pequeño en esta empresa situada en el polígono industrial de Castiñeiras, en Bueu. Estos “cuervos de guerra” [el significado de su nombre en latín] se preparan para volar aún más alto y continuar con su imparable proceso de crecimiento. La compañía tramita un proyecto para ampliar sus instalaciones y añadir una nueva nave a la que ya dispone dentro de la segunda fase del parque empresarial. El objetivo es ganar más espacio para ampliar su capacidad de producción y almacenamiento, para lo que tiene previsto realizar una inversión de casi 280.000 euros. La actuación se centra en acondicionar una edificación ya existente en la parcela 24 del polígono de Castiñeiras y que se encuentra cerrada desde hace años. Se trata de la nave que ocupaba Talleres Grúas Carmen, ubicada en la entrada de la segunda fase del área industrial, justo delante de donde se ubicará el nuevo laboratorio modular de la multinacional SGS. El objetivo es que una vez concluidos los trabajos la nave disponga de una superficie construida total de casi 1.400 metros cuadrados repartidos en dos plantas. Las actuales instalaciones de Corvus Belli están en la parcela 29 de Castiñeiras, entre Poliésteres Sobral (que está tramitando su reconstrucción) y Carpintería Villanueva. De esta manera esa nave podrá dedicarse íntegramente a atender las necesidades de producción, mientras que las nuevas instalaciones estarán reservadas a oficinas y almacén. El plan para esas nuevas dependencias prevé que la actividad principal se desarrolle en la planta baja, con una superficie por encima de los 600 metros cuadrados y que estará destinada al almacenamiento de juegos y miniaturas. La distribución incluirá un puesto de recepción, comedor para empleados, vestuarios, aseos, una sala de impresión en 3D y otra sala rack [espacio donde se ubican recursos informáticos y electrónicos]. Mientras, la planta superior ocupa más de 300 metros cuadrados de superficie para despachos, oficinas y otros departamentos de la empresa. De momento el proyecto está a trámite en el departamento de Urbanismo del Concello de Bueu para la obtención de la licencia municipal de obras. En todo caso, antes de acometer esta ampliación desde Corvus Belli tienen previsto reformar la nave en la que se ubican sus instalaciones actuales y en la que continuará con la fabricación de miniaturas y juegos. Esa reforma está relacionada con las consecuencias del incendio ocurrido hace un año en la nave de Poliésteres Sobral, que está justo al lado. Esta empresa también acaba de presentar hace unas semanas el proyecto para la reconstrucción de sus instalaciones. Según los últimos datos de la Guía Ardán que elabora el Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Vigo, la empresa cuenta con más de medio centenar de empleados y su cifra de negocio en el año 2021 superó los 4,3 millones de euros, lo que la sitúa entre las 2.500 empresas más grandes de Galicia.
