A lot of the newer JSA stuff carries amix of yu jing (SMGs, Combis, spitfires, boarding shotguns), Pano (keisotsu HMG amd ML, kempei marksmanrifle, tanko ML ryukenc HRL)and in case of the MK12 Karakuri O12 weaponry. So the o yorois AP HMG beeong a PanO Weapon Makes sense. But i don't like the design. Would have taken an Pano multi HMG sculpt likecon the sepulcre knight of it has to be a PanO weapon.

JSA has splintered form Yu Jing so getting weapons from them is problematic, hence they use PanO purchased weapons for specialized equipment, they chose to maintain Yu Jing remotes because there are many corporations making copies.

This doesn't make much sense. Corporations might as well copy the weapon systems too. This is what happened in our real world after the dissolution of USSR and the Warsaw Pact. Numerous countries, who were members of one or both of those continued to maintain and even develop such systems, everything from assault rifles to tanks and missiles.

Yes, but do they sell them cheaper than what PanO sells them? are they reliable in providing munitions? does Yu Jing have a say in such sales, remotes are disposable, but not as mass purchased as small arms fire.

    Yes.
If they had the industrial & development base to do so, and - preferrably - agreements that allowed them to produce the base systems.

They were then able to improve and develop, building on top of the base systems.

There's also the matter of cost-to-effect ratio. Are PanO small arms that much better and/or that much more expensive for it to make a difference on a macro-scale? How about providing them with spare parts and mainteanance? IIRC the Uprising, JSA was pretty heavily supplied by the PanO (as a way of undermining the YJ...). There might be political interest on PanO's side to subsidize arming JSA, as well as a problem of setting up a production of copied YJ small arms (too expensive to start, requires supplies too difficult to get, or properitary tools / software that is more hassle to get than it would be worth it. And yes, patent rights are still a concern: you don't want to give YJ a string they'd be able to tie around your neck and persuade o-12 to impose a trade embargo on you, not if you are a minor interstellar nation with holding spread across several planets, and, I guess, not much in the way of a nave to protect the transport lanes...).

Gator only exists because Nomad lawyers have tied most of patent rights litigations, especially from Yu Jing in such a bureaucratic hellhole, the cases are unlikely to crawl out anytime soon.

----It was an April fool's joke----

As you know, the french have their entries at Corvus Belli and we have access to top source leaks, and despite the moderator of bak, I unveil you the beginning of the Méro reskin:

After the battle sisters of bakunin, here is the FRRM Death Korps of Krieg. :scream::sunglasses:
You'll notice the usual corvusbellian errors, they made a mistake with the flag, they put the Dutch flag instead of the French one... haha :ok_hand:

That, or they decided to indicate the Dutch minority in Merovingia (the fluff have been mentioning it was made of not only ethnic French, but also Germans, and other Western Europeans...) there :P

A lot of the initial population came from Belgium there. So the Dutch minority is right on point.

The weapons on the dossier are interesting; MRRF has historically been rather undergunned so getting APHMGs and T2 Rifles into their links would be a substantial upgrade if the dossier's accurate. The Heavy Pistol's a curious choice too, alongside the template guns it could indicate close-quarters role.

    Absolutely.
The "concept art" is a fan-made, and depicts a Moblot, whereas the post author ( @Wizzy ) spoke of Metros. On April 1st.
I have just played along :)

Ah, as an Australian, he missed April 1st for me. Makes sense, but I am still saddened by the lack of love for my Space Dutch.

There is a strange news to come on the Spanish net, which could be related to the future comic infinity of this summer, Alberto could have been invited to talk about his future projects:

I ordered an old O-yoroy after I saw the future one. And I would be calm only after I would get it.
