It seems that my understanding of V: Dogged along with G: Remote Presence is vastly different from that of many TOs, so I hope community hive mind gets this clarified. A Unidron Batroid suffers an unsaved hit and loses its only STR point, and is about to enter Unconscious state. Its controller now has to choose whether they activate the Unconscious state or the V: Dogged skill. They choose to activate V: Dogged, so that Unidron enters the Dogged state. Then that Unidron receives another unsaved hit during the same Player Turn. What happens in the Order Resolution step? Can Unidron's controller choose to activate V: Dogged again or enter 2nd level of Unconsciousness? NB: to clarify, I was the one claiming that Unidron dies after receiving another unsaved hit while in Dogged, but people in my playgroup kept telling me that it's (activating Dogged the second time) how everyone plays this.
Part of the Dogged skill is that if you take another wound, you die http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Dogged Cancellation The Dogged state is automatically cancelled when the trooper loses another point from his Wounds or the Player Turn ends. In either case, he falls Dead and is removed from play.
They die. Cancellation The Dogged state is automatically cancelled when the trooper loses another point from his Wounds or the Player Turn ends. In either case, he falls Dead and is removed from play.
Misread you, I first read another hit in the same turn not the same order so yes he dies If he had taken the 2 damages in the same order, he would be dogged not dead
I'm not asking how to use this properly. I was told that everyone plays this as if it's possible to enter Dogged state twice and couldn't convince other players that rules as written don't allow this.
How can a troop with structure points loose points from its Wounds Attribute? Yeah, in the wiki the FAQ talk about wounds, which linkes to an entry that talks about reducing the Wounds/Structure attribute. But the rule should be updated, as it clearly says you have to reduce the Wounds Attribute, which Unidrones do not have. Further: The rules say you can not be healed, but engeneering talks about regaining structure points, not healing. So RAW the Unidron can still be rapaired? I think it would be nice if this was clarified when (/if) the rules get an overhaul.
You take a Wound. You lose a point of W or STR. An Engineer is not able to repair a V:Dogged remote, it is included in the "..." of Once activated, this state prevents the trooper from being healed by Special Skills or Equipment such as Doctor, AutoMediKit, MediKit, Regeneration...).
? I am not That Guy - I said that RAI is obvious, but that RAW states something else, and that it would be nice if this gets fixed.
