    I don't understand Fireteam: Duo - what's the point?

I guess you get to move two models with one order, but is that really it?

Step 1: Activate the Camera function on your mobile
Step 2: Field Achilles and place a Duo Link marker next to him
Step 3: Place another 3 different painted Achilles models in coherency
Step 4: Laugh maniacally and take a Picture of your oppenents face

    :)

First, you save orders and second, you can profit from synergies, in this case the Holoprojector from Patroclus.

A better/easier example is the Nomads Taskmaster Duo with Red Fury and HRL. The Red Fury is for active phase, the HRL (most often) for reactive phase.

Order efficiency is huge. Use Patroclus's HoloEchos as ablative armor to waste their first AROs as you move up into your good range bands. Even better if you can save one on the way up for a Surprise Shot.

Being in a Fireteam stops Achilles succumbing to Frenzy, preserving his ability to use cover.

It also increases order efficiency in a game where using orders efficiently is one of the most important skills.

The best thing about fireteams is moving a specialist and a big gun in one order.

With that in mind, I’ve never used Achilles/Patroclus DUO, although I like running both, as they’re awesome killers.

Pat can do some things, Achilles can’t, like walking through a nomad repeater net or dumping smoke. And as MSV doesn’t counter HoloEchoes, he also has a good use there.

you gain advantages of many things at one time.
patroclus have smokes, send the smoke and enjoy a free walk together, while coming to achiles' best weapon range.
achiles kills things and doesnt loose cover bonus is huge.
patroclus is still strong dangerous piece if you get few hits to achiles. leave achiles out of line of fire, attack hith holo echoes.
and a reason to buy 2 achiles boxes.

As far as I know, Achilles can go through repeater and even hacker ZoC itself, but eligable order expendature sequence should be Move-Move. Should he use any other second part of the order which is not Move, he will trigger aro. Hacker's won't get aro, since Achiles have stealth granted by Martial Arts. But be aware, that Hackers with Six Sense could use their aro normally (for an example, someone from Yu-Jing, don't remember who it is exactly, hacker in 4+ link team)

Move in repeater range because of Stealth: Yes. Move in ZoC would require a Cautious Movement (!) which he can declare because he has Stealth.
