I agree about the KHDs (this list fits them in), but I'm not so sure about taking an extra hacking device too. You can still cancel posessed with a command token and, while command tokens won't work in the reactive turn, the chances of a friendly hacking device un-possessing the TAG with an ARO are small enough that it doesn't seem worth it. Taking a hacking device would require dropping the Karhu for a Monstrucker or Machinist (I know that you can fix tags with the tech-bee this edition, but I don't like how order-risky that is without the reroll), and I'd rather have the increased engineering capacity. I feel that it's far more likely that one of them gets immobilised or isolated, so I would rather focus on having a engineer who is more survivable.
BSG/FD Hospitaller and FD Wildcard KoJ open up interesting possibilities. Here you can have Hospitaller/KoJ/Santiago Haris and KoJ/OS Core... or you can link KoJ and second Santiago into Hospitaller Core if you have a place to deploy properly (FD KoJ acting as Team Leader), and have a HI Core with BSG starting 8" up the field. Makes one think. Also, 3x Spitfire, ML, HRL, and Heavy Shotgun makes for some obscene amout of firepower. Now, If I were to seriously consider something like this, I'd probably cut down some of those OS to fit in EVO.
Here is my first attempt at a Shock Army TAG list with a Dragon in N4. I tried to follow the principles outlined by daboarder. (I take all the help I can get. I bought my first models in N1 but have very little experience). I could kick out the BS Bagh-Mari and not play the Haris in exchange for a second Regular Minelayer and a second Fugazi to get to 15 Orders but I like the Haris. Edit: I now realise where the points for the mule came from. I forgot the Palbot. So Mule out and Pal+Techbee in. What‘s the Techbee for in N4? Does it still give the Machinist a bonus?
no, she no longer provides a bonus to WIP. She's a disposable ARO piece (flash pulse), and she's a back-up repair assistant with her gizmokit
And a Specialist. Never forget this, your 5pt Warcor-ette can actually score and win if your opponent doesn't put the effort into countering her- which is quite likely with a TAG list, since they'll need to focus most of their assets on halting the big robot and can easily forget about the pistol-toting cheerleader on the other end of the board.
