Not really chrome, it was some kind of car grey, with blue & red tints to add variation even in the clean cases (and probably to link with police lights). Spoiler
If I find the right colors, I think I'll try the Martian movie suit paint scheme with more black/Grey and less white. But white color is hard to do.
Like many, I plan to go for a police force color or marine blue, black and gray. I'm likely to put the chest gold trim in brown instead to pass as a harness. For the neon blue sections, I'm thinking of keeping the lines in neon blue as high tech highlights, with the rest black or marine blue.
I'm thinking of something very regal, or Imperial. Byzantine purple and bronze, but those are both pretty strong colors and I haven't quite thought about how to avoid overdoing it.
Then you should look about some 40k artwork for pre Heresy Emporers Children, they have a purple / gold sheme. Here is a picture to get an idea
You can easily test out your alternate colour schemes on this website: http://koin.koin.free.fr/perryfraser-infinity-coloring/
Man people already got stuff painted and my preorder hasn't even shipped yet. >_< That purple and white looks good though @Reece
Those should all be warcor preorders to demo the box ahead of time. If its any condolence: I‘m also waiting for my box to ship..
That white/cream and gold is exactly the scheme I tried (and failed) with my OSS. That looks so good that I'll resurrect it and try again.
Thanks for Sharing paint minis, is the gamma back pack a separated part from the body? I don't like it and I want remove it if it's possible.
I've been using photopea.com as of late for simple image projects like this. I don't want to hijack the thread, so here's a link to a post with some edits I've done with photopea: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/invincible-alternate-colour-schemes.33671/page-4#post-279654
