Smoke/Eclipse grenades are probably the most powerful ability in the game, so I understand your salt. But it's part and parcel of how the game works.

I think they should take away the ammo modes as a default, keep everything else the same. Still room for them to put ap or shock smgs on profiles...
Unfortunately, the FAQ explicitly rules out this interpretation.
SMGs need to have their ammo options removed. They're too powerful.
