Yellow is a REALLY hard colour to paint effectively. It requires lots of layers, washes, and highlights. I'm looking forward to it though!

You can do that too - I just find it easier to remember ratios. For example, if I want a black wash, I'll mix water to black ink at a 5:1 ratio.
