So that special rule is independent of his duo skill? Got it.

You still need a Haris skill in the Fireteam, but Percy or a HM bring that.

I'm starting to look at Tunguska again, and I'm overwhelmed by the wildcards and fireteam options. It is giving me a hard time imagining what fireteam to deploy on the table. Mostly, because as soon as you take a couple of unit that happen to be wildcard, now they can join any core or haris of my other models.

Ex: i have a cheerkiller core with 2 grenzer. I take a couple of HollowMen. Now my grenzer can switch from Cheerkiller core to HollowMen core/haris. Weather they do or don't, in any case, the remaining cheerkiller/HM all gets Duo. In the end it is highly flexible on the table, once I play I might get a better feel.

Pure wildcard: Grenzer, Miranda, Jelena, Tsyklon, Vostok, Raoul, Wolfgang.
Addition to specific fireteam : In a Sec core, you can add Interventor/Perseus. In a HM core/haris/duo, you can add Kriza/Stempler/Perseus.
As many Duo as you want on the table, moving together : Cheerkiller, HM, Kriza, ABH. They can be taken as pair, or alone with a wildcard.

Yeah it's not quite the Wildcard heaven Corregidor is, but it certainly beats Bakunin!

I just wish you could filter by Wildcard in Army.

Necroing this thread to ask if I'm blind or if AVA of MBHs in Tunguska has recently gone up to 3? I remember it being two. I'm not sure I would play it, but having three 8-10pt units that are capable of doing work is imo a considerable improvement to our points-heavy mafia faction. Any thoughts?

It changed to 3 when the fireteam rules were updated.

So it's already been a while. Got it. Must have missed that change. Would you actually ever play all three?

I think it's worth trying them out. I have played Tunguska for a few months recently and the MBH have actually been really great for helping them out with Warband Defences. I was regularly taking two of the 8 point MBH and having good results. I think it could be worth trying out 3 but maybe not in a Haris.

I´m thinking about trying them as an Harris Team for quite a while. 3 fast units able to take cover, with mimetism -3 and BS 12 and a RedFury for 0,5 / 31 is great by itself even without the potential rerollable chance for HMG/ODD/ARM+4/MSR

They do not turn regular in a link afaik, so it's gonna be awkward.

Put the 3 into a Combat Group with you defensive link, use the regular orders for mayham, and then each irregular to put them into suppressive Fire. Mimetism, Cover, SuppFire BS can be hard to carve out a good position

Losing 3 Irregular orders and their Impetuous activations is a pretty steep price to pay for a Haris of awkward S5 troops.

If you’re going for 3 bikes, taking at least 2 different approaches with them will be necessary (occasional JSA speed cult player here).

You’ll also -definitely- want smoke to cover for them.

IMO not worth it for the link, but as solo units they’re great, or paired with a Zondnautica each as sacrifice pieces to get your Zondnaut flankers through.

I am going to repeat these questions in both sectorials I play.

We have had the new Fireteam rules for a little while now, where we can have 'pure' or 'impure' Fireteams. When, if ever, do you feel it is worth going for Fireteam purity over the flexibility of mixing different units together? I have tried to do this a few times in Tunguska, but every time I do I feel like the team would have been better if I added a Kriza to the Hollow Men or a Grenzer to the Securitate. I am not the world's best player, however, so I could easily be missing the point.

Personally, I have never enjoyed using five-man Cores. I have heard of people using a three-man Core alongside a Haris (basically, Tohaa-lite) and this intrigues me. I have not yet tried it, though. Do you feel like this would work well as an option in Tunguska, or would a Securitate Core Prone on a rooftop with a Sixth Sense Interventor and a Grenzer Sniper looking for AROs be the better option in 9/10 games?
