well, infinity is now on 30-32mm scale and Belen confirmed 34 for warcrow, so indeed, we're gonna see bigger fellas
I'm not sure. See, traditionally, wargaming miniatures scale is defined as "height to the eye level of a human-sized humanoid", while height is typically understood as "to the tip of the head". That being said, wargaming scales for miniatures are, IMO, a total mess. Not that modeling scales (for scale moedls) are perfect, either. All in all, we are yet to see how that turns out :)
Some people were asking for a race of war crow man, well here is the perfect real design!!! Spoiler: picture of warcrow men Spoiler: source: video insta https://www.instagram.com/p/CdfNagYAMCC
Loving the theme, artwork, and render. Thank you! Still watching the video, so getting into the mechanics part now
For your information, the warcrow website now has a News section. https://warcrow.com/ Here a recap of the pictures . Spoiler: Miniature Spoiler: Art Spoiler: Mecanic: Energy>Actions And the new size comparison.
Do we know If all (these) miniatures are on 25mm? Maybe Dwarf is on 25mm but the other one is on bigger like 28mm or 32mm?
According to the interview it is in 34mm and the miniatures must be compatible with those of the wargame. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...rse-by-corvus-belli.41002/page-18#post-435694
The model they showed today is a fun design, looking forward to seeing more mist-monsters. The back of the cloak hit one of my pet peeves, though, where the texture is irregular patchwork, but the bottom seam is perfectly straight. I feel like it should have fluctuations as well to follow the shapes of the rough patches.
Now this is an interesting reveal! :) Looking forward to see/hear more about it. I also agree with toadchild, the patchwork cloak looks far too artificially straight.
The first reveal was a bit bland but this is one is actually pretty cool, nice concept art and render. Getting a bit of Dark Souls vibes. The mechanics also look quite interesting, I wonder how much of this will be used for the wargame. I never though about the seam of patchwork cloaks, but now I can't unsee.....
The new character looks neat. Characters suffering from Vitiligo are rarely depicted, so it's very nice from CB to include that. Model from front and the back looks very nice and detailed, although from side you can see very thick leafs/parts. I cant wait to highlight each and every leaf separately. I hope there will be some flavor text on those cards, I hate when there is so much empty unused space (like on this armour)! It just asks to put something there to flesh out the setting!
Nothing spectacular but solid wood elf concept and the miniature is pretty nice. I don't think that's Vitiligo but some sort of tree bark effect. Maybe something to do with the elves having to return to their forests regularly because otherwise it effects their health?
