Stallion Jack & Beba Conversion Tutorial

    An article by Suso Calo.

Being totally sincere, I think… No, I can assure, that all of us who read Outrage, the Infinity manga, we want to see Beba and her TAG Stallion Jack, both together.

Without any doubt, this is a conversion that could be made differently. In fact, before starting, I considered different possibilities that could be made, and let’s see if someone wants to wade in and do their own conversion.

I settled for this version due to two reasons, Beba’s model, that’s it, I will not change anything on her because she is perfect like that, and because her pose goes pretty well with her “Center of the party” character.

We start as always: removing the leftover metal from the main pieces, torso and legs, filing the mold lines and gluing in the original pose.

We start planning, without gluing, how the Anaconda is going to fit into the base, this way we have an idea about how Beba is going to look later.

We keep preparing and gluing pieces that will not be changed in any way: chest piece, shell piece, head and neck plate along the back piece.

Until this point we have not changed anything from the Anaconda mini and now the fun begins. We add a pin to the small left arm and glue it to the mini instead, but in a closer position to the body and we will fill the hole with green stuff.

With the left arm we will do a similar thing: we glue it in the same position than the small one this way the wrist rests over the thigh. We fill the gap in with green stuff and file the shoulder pad arm socket. This allows us to place her a little bit more up and to fill the shoulder hole.

With the small right arm we will do something similar: we glue it, next to the body and re do the green stuff.

The right arm is the most complicated piece of all the conversion, because there is no TAG weapon that looks like the one from the manga. Okay, so we have to do it, and I was thinking this conversion was boring!

We will start with the Gecko’s Combi Rifle, cutting the wrist and the original arm at the same level, we will file the handle and the top of the receiver until all the Surface is smooth.

Next, I literally destroy the Seraph’s arm in order to use the spitfire and I file it until it’s ready for… oh darn! The TAG’s weapon has a wide muzzle and this one’s, however is very tiny! Well then, we will cut the spitfire and we add it, no problem. Plus, as with the flamethrower it needs a lighter muzzle I add the flamethrower from the Dragao’s weapon. Lastly I add the fuel canister from a Grunt’s flamethrower and miraculously, everything fits and looks a lot like Stallion’s Jack weapon from the manga. Next step is to adjust the left arm in a similar way using a wire pin, greenstuff and changing the shoulder pad a bit in position.

For the sheathed sword I used a piece of the original sword. To make the guard I filed the edge and bent it a little, I cut a pieces of Ajax’s hammer handle, although any part from it can be used for it, I glued everything with a wire pin and put it in place.

And finally, Beba. To place her over the arm of Stallion Jack I used a drill very carefully to make small hole in the foot plant where I added a pin. Then I did the same on the TAG’s wrist: a small drill hole and finally we glue it together.

I hope you like the result. It is possible than that during the coming months I will even get to paint it, there is even the chance of making it slightly acceptable I might publish some pictures. For the time being I want to see yours.
