Not my meme but it helps convey the point that the new Karakuri are too damn small. Say what you will about the aesthetic design, I dont like them obviously but I was planning to buy them regardless, but, I really wont buy them if they are this small. CB needs to fix the sizes like the MK12 appearing too big but it's really the scale of the Karakuri is off and the size of the other two guns matches their scale unlike the mk12.
Man, you think too highly of your own opinion. It's not an issue, but even if it was it's not worth getting bent out of shape about. Karakuris are one of the most advanced pieces of equipment that the Human Sphere has, ALEPH doesn't have access to that kind of tech.

So you're not interested in buying them for "some" reason, there's a fair amount of people who feel the same but dont post because of as you said "shit posting", and I almost was gonna buy them but aesthetic and scale... well that's too much for me. Nor do I understand the logic behind calling people's posts trolling while at the same time trolling the poster. Not saying that's happening here aside the one person so far but it's common. All that said, what option would you like added?
How can the scale be wrong for a fictional robot? They're just small. If Karakuri existed in real life and were 2 metres tall then this would be a mistake in scale, if they existed in real life and were only 1 metre tall this would also be a mistake in scale (too big) but they're fictional so are by default whatever size the designers choose to make them.
You sure about that? Su Jian is an evolution of the Karakuri project, and I'd say neither are as advanced as Achilles.
Karakuri project is more advanced in a lot of ways than the Su Jian or Achilles. STR 3 and TI? That's some heavy shit. Also, remote presence HI should be either TAGs or REMs, pick one.

A thing that always bothered me is you can mess with HI via hacking but aren't able to boost them? Buffable HI would be potentially gamebreaking but what about buffable TAGs?
Bases matched width for width, these things 1st edition moderators scale... they wont look like advanced robots on the table they will look bizarre. And I imagine difficult to paint and those little ankles and feet might break.

I don't know, man, aside from the metal pony tails and questionable colour choices, this looks like something more than one robot manufacturer would be producing today if they could. It's like... one of those things (sans guns) will be taking care of us when we're elderly and no one will be thinking twice about it. Only issue I have with them is the same as I have with Moiras and their ilk: they don't visually match their stats. They'd be great as a Dakini statline, but they don't quite say "takes a beating better than Achilles".
My kneejerk reaction is that this would obviously be too good with Assisted Fire, but looking at the list of units this even applies to (Su Jian, Hollow Men, Betatroopers, and Karakuri, but I would add Parvati to this group as well, she's an LI with an HI statblock) I don't think it would honestly be that huge of an issue? Especially given that you need an EVO bot for it. More on topic, this is just a classic wujiposting thread to add to the annals of history, I guess.
