    Welcome aboard guys!

I'll use this post to discuss this new edition and write my battle reports using Dahshat.

    Cheers!

RasPuto here with my first battle report. Unfortunately, I've broke my phone so I don't have pics of the game, I hope next reports will come out better.

After a couple of games (a loss vs Vanilla PanO and a win vs JSA), I decided to put more thought into my Dahshat lists and today I've played vs O12 using this:

    Opera Snapshot_2020-10-06_004551_infinitytheuniverse.com.png

We played Domination, from the N4 Rulebook.

Won the roll, decided to go first and to keep in reserve two models: McM and the Maggie. My opponent deployed second on a more closed side of the table, putting his Gamma in Suppressive Fire.

My first turn was hunting time. McMurrough moved fast across the board, dodging with smoke a couple of shots from his Lynx sniper, killing in CC a Gangbuster, jumping on a roof and putting double Chain Rifle on the Lynx. Another jump and two orders later, Alpha was dead too (Cho CoC saved his day).
Maggie started to put some mines around and the Hunzakut took the first Antenna. The FT took the second one.

His first turn was focused on trying to remove both the Maghariba and McM, but he was pretty unlucky on the latter (the Dog dodged prone after his MSV2 Epsilon shot him) and his HMGs weren't strong enough to perforate Maggie's ARM in cover (1 Str down). Nothing special here.
    1-1

On my second turn, I've declared an unnecessary dodge on McM while I could've simply let him die after putting some Chain Rifles in my opponent's DZ. He died doing nothing, but he surely has repaid his cost. Maggie threw more mines around, killed a Warcor and put itself in SF.
Miranda and the boys did nothing special here. Libertos went Rambo mode and walked like a real champ to kill the Sirius girl, then tried to kill a Varangian Guard but died against the SMG shot (the VG saved both the shotgun teardrops).

His second turn was mostly closing distances and SF on some models. A Gangbuster took one antenna and the super Varangian dodged smoke twice before coming into CC with the Maggie and killing it. Woah, I love those guys in Kosmoflot but getting one straight in your face is never a nice experience lol
    3-1 Dahshat

Third turn was pretty ok for me: FT killed the Varangian, Nasmat repaired a Str to the Maggie (rerolling with a Command token, damned Dozer!), the FT killed the Sirius bot (unnecessary but why not) and took a third antenna. The Maghariba put more mines around 'cause it's cool and SFed again.

Gamma went Libertos mode and came out from his hiding place, shot down the Maghariba (not agaaaain), took three mines (saving all the ARM rolls), two Miranda's Multi Rifle AP shots (saving both) and two ABH's SMG AP shots (saving one). After a couple more orders and some kills, this beast collapsed. No more orders for my opponent though.
    8-2 Dahshat

    DAHSHAT WINS!

My opponent was new to O12 so I won't consider it a great win, but he did what he had to do.
Anyway, his Gangbusters, Team Sirius and MadTraps prevented my Maghariba to hit fast and hard, so I surely have to test it more (never played it in N3). I like the list though. Miranda is a good shooter and a needed Specialist, Maggie can control the board, McM does what McM does pretty well. I don't know how this list would defend, but three Fanous, a mine, a SF Maggie and a Hunzakut could do the trick.

Take care and good luck with your saving rolls in real life:Q:

Thank you for putting together that report! It was great to follow. Just one thing:
Remember you can only do a Command Token reroll for engineering on units with Remote Presence (Page 129 of the PDF). Its one of the reason PanO TAGs are so great.
