Hi, My pledge for Oktober. Hope I can finish all three of them. The already finished ones from last month need company. Spoiler: Already finished Greetz Oni
Tres miniaturas de Nomadas a pintar con esquema basico, utilizando las contrast de GW y pinturas y tintas de Vallejo. Three miniatures of Nomadas to paint with a basic scheme, using the contrast of GW and Vallejo paints and inks.
Long time since my last attendance here but as promised to @Engorn I had to do something this month. So here is where Is was a couple of hours ago. And the result so far. Unfortunately the pic tend to tone down the contrast.
Unfortunately the unmasking phase ruined the previous work (plus I can't get rid of all the liquid mask). So the mini will be stripped. At least I know the scheme works.
@Koin-Koin did you varnish inbetween painting and masking? I've never done it myself but can see the potential
Indeed I mat varnished it to protect the previous paint job. Maybe should I have use gloss instead but I'm not sure. When the paint ripped off, it was due to heavy rubbing (and maybe a bit of hanger).
Fair play, I only airbrush to base and do some limited highlighting and stories like this put me off doing anything flash
Honestly, even if it's a fail, it's a good learning experience. I shared more detail here if you're interested.
