For older minis, yes. Pre-CAD sculpts! For newer, CAD sculpts. You can also use Hasslefree on CAD sculpts, though you're going to have to sculpt your own hair.
So, the answer is - Statuesque Miniatures FINE SCALE for old models and PULP SCALE for new line in infinity? Someone tried to use them? Any pics maybe? I used in past Hasslefree heads, but I think they are a little to small for this.
I use Statuesque fine scale heads for a lot of Infinity conversions (I'm nowhere near as good as most of the guys on here, but these should help for scale) - Patsy conversion on Joan body - Bipandra conversion on Bolt medic body - SAA Engineer conversion on SAA regular body - Tomcat conversion on a ALEPH Spec Ops body Does that help?
I decided to try something a bit different with my Medchanoid. It's basically a transport unit for the Nanobot cloud that performs the Doctor and Engineer role.
Interventer conversion, with the torso of Danavas, legs and right arm from female Interventer, and the left arm of female Moderator.
Authorised Bounty Hunter on Bike WIP. I wanted to get her looking more like the pinup style artwork in the N3 books
Yest. Very Much. I was thinking about Statuesque, but had no size comparison. Which sets you used? Now I see there is some problem with availability.
I have that one on my list as well, though I'll go for the normal pose and custom color scheme. Largely because I don't want to cut the hand from the gun. Cutting the head on the Kuroshi was hard enough. x_x Good work though!
It took a while, but inspired by Archangeleong's work above, I've cooked up my own RoboGeisha using the Malifaux Geishas from the 'Youko Core box':
I had the same problem with availability but the owner of Statuesque Minis was able to provide the sets I wanted even though they weren't posted as in stock on the site. Just look over the different sets in the heroic section and send him an email asking if he has this set or that in pulp size. He should answer you back shortly.
Last year during Kurage, I came up with the idea of using Haqqislam minis to fill in for FRRM, as the Merovingian Foreign Legion. I've decided to make it permanent, and I'll be paining these blue with red and white bits soon. I have some resin 7.62 belts to finish off the M60, I'll find them tomorrow. Not sure about the heads, might swap them out for helmets at some point. Just like the Moblots, the heads are possibly not staying on... I'll probably grab a few more Ghulams to make an M60 gunner, a d-charge carrier and a D.E.P.
I'm so slow to respond! (sorry) The spear is a plasticard Rod and I then cut the Guijia sword down and had to sand/sculpt it to that shape. The haft is the butt of the same sword.
That was a good idea. Though, like I said before, I think pulp size is more in line with CB's current sculpts.
