As a former professional machine-gunner, you really don't want to shoot your friends, even moreso when you don't have comms/radar/minimap to know where they are anymore!

In either case, the trooper loses his ability to use the Impersonation Special Skill. The trooper recovers his ability to use the Special Skill when the Retreat! situation is canceled. However, the trooper does not revert to the Impersonation-2 state. To regain an Impersonation state, the trooper must follow the Activation rules of Impersonation-1 state. prevents impetuous hackers from Cybermasking. Is this no longer that case? The Impersonation state is only cancelled if you become impetuous, so if you already are impetuous, based on this ruling, there is no issue, correct?
But he didn't become Impetuous, he already was Impetuous. In either case(the trooper becoming impetuous, or entering the retreat state), the trooper loses his ability to use the Impersonation Special Skill. Following the precedent of this ruling, just because becoming Impetuous means I lose/cannot regain the Cybermask state doesn't mean I can't enter the Impersonation state if I already was Impetuous to start.
Adding onto that, Aragoto cannot lose the ability to use "Impersonation Special Skill", she uses Cybermask program, which states: REQUIREMENTS The user must be outside the LoF of all enemies. EFFECTS By passing a WIP Roll, the user enters the Impersonation-2 state. Replace the user's model with an Impersonation-2 Marker (IMP-2). The effects of this program persist until the user reveals himself as per the Impersonation-2 state rules. This program affects only the Hacker himself and therefore has no range. And according to the cancelation rules of the Imp-2, Aragoto has to become Impetuous, not be Impetuous.
A troop capable of spending his whole order could (for example, a Religious Troop, or one with a level of Valour). That means Thorakitai, Dakinis, Eudoros, Moiras, Securitate, etc... can do so, either because they remain Regular (Securitate...) or because their irregular orders are not limited (Dakinis...)
What @xagroth said is only for retreat. If you are under the retreat state, you can only use "Short Movement Skills, Cautious Movement, Change Facing, Dodge or Reset (or any Special Skills that allow it explicitly)" . So you can go SF only if you are immune to retreat or if you cancel it.
I'm not sure I follow what you are trying to say here. Are you saying the Aragoto can enter the Impersonation-2 state because Cybermask and Impersonation are two different skills?
