I have and I wasn't very impressed. This is probably just do to my own preferences though, as I'm not a huge fan of defensive over offensive play. If I'm putting up snipers on ARO, its usually going to be the humble ghulam.

(0 | 3) 5.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army I'll use something like this: Duo of Mukhtar, the Datatracker is the Red Fury and the Dr+ will keep him alive. I'll recommend only to advance if you are completing the mission or hunting pieces and wreaking havoc. Tuareg AHD and Nahab KHD for rapid unmasking, you can put the Tuareg in to Marker State and The Nahab in IMMP-2 for better survival after they activate. The Nahab Redfury is only for killing, maybe hunting down their datatracker. Core is very straight forward, table control.
Nice one man! Why no Haris tho? Maybe replacing the Nahab RF. Anyway, this seems a good build, especially with this good ARO presence.
I know that the haris is a very juicy option, yet I prefer to have another plan in case I go first and have the option to break the rear of the opponent and the Nahab and do this: Redfury for the cheerleaders and NBW (natural born warrior) against the more tough guys with high ARM.
And yet, another attack piece if the Mukhtar fails or dies. Kamau scares me a lot, I was thinking about Haris for that. The choice could be: - Kameel and Nahab RF + Mukhtar Haris and Monstrucker But probably you're right.
Not to be difficult, but that list is exactly my point. It looks strong, sure. But isn't it basically just vanilla Haqqislam with a core link? The frustrations with RTF aren't power level, they're aesthetic. The sectorial has lots of cool tools, but it's hard to leverage all of them effectively.
The Mukhtar haris can easily struggle against the Kamau, though. You have a pretty good chance of a straight fight if you can get the red fury within 16, but that's about it. Unmasking in particular wants you to have multiple hunters around the board. I assume you're referring to all the line infantry and remotes in the list VicBanjo posted, where you would prefer more Ramah-specific troopers. I would say that's more a sign of one player's style than that of the faction as a whole. Personally, I would be much more comfortable running something like this. Ramah Taskforce──────────────────────────────────────────────────GROUP 1 9 KHAWARIJ (Fatality L2) Spitfire / Pistol, AP CCW. (0.5 | 31) 6 SWC | 299 PointsOpen in Infinity Army That gives an oversized core team that can be used offensively or defensively, while also providing orders for two elite midfield specialists. The Namurr is a very good datatracker in this one who can join the core team, but doesn't have to. She can also sub out for another Nahab and a 10th order if thats more your style. The second group focuses on the Mukhtar. I know you mentioned not liking their dossier, but they're probably our all-around best supersoldiers. Leila is in there for the possibility of a haris, but she has trouble keeping up, so it can easily turn into giving Leila a few free moves up the board, then them running off as a killy duo. Again, just like the list VicBanjo is representative of one playstyle, this list is representative of mine. Maybe it suits you better.
I like this type of list, with the main attack piece in it when I want it to crack down another big pieces or difficult cores like Kamau or Bagh-Mari. For Unmasking I chose a more mobile list in order to rapidly gain advantage.
Late reply but I find the FO is actually more useful in that list. Flash pulse, proper rifle, still has a light shotgun, gives me a wider range of specialists for classifieds and the doctor skill is less useful when they all have NWI in that Haris anyway.
Also if you want to play with a more turbans and desert aesthetic in Haqq, you totally can. Vanilla and HB especially. Not every Haqq Sectoral should have a similar aesthetic; in fact they specifically shouldn't. RTF is the most high tech and advanced military force of a highly developed society, the best of the best. They should look like it, and feel like it, and they do. Professional, elite and built for rapid response. RTF feel just right for me and I think it's unrealistic to expect they'd just be the same as other Haqq armies.
Uhh.. All the turban units are in Ramah. Need to add that look wise I rather like them and RTF as a whole even though some models feel out of place as if they needed to reach the unit-per-sectorial quota.
Sure, you can run them, but you rarely see an all (or nearly all) turban list at a competitive level.
IMO most of Ramah, including units like Hakims and Zhayedans, look pretty distinctive. A bit more hi-tech than Ariadna, a bit less futuristic than everyone else. I kinda think that "RL, but 20 minutes into the future" suits Haqq well enough. But then enter Mukhtars who look exactly like Nomads but not painted red on grey, and Nahabs who look like Acon guys, but more stupid. If I'll get to playing sectorial, I'll probably stick to proxying them with Lasiqs/Al-Djabel and Ragiks/Yasbir, respectively (although I do think that the latter is a victim of stylistical mismatch on its own). ...I think I've been repeating that a bit too much lately, haven't I?
I've played today yet another game with my turban list, 5 Khawarijs and Tarik, Li 300pts. 6 turbans in 10 units is rather many ;) Still have more wins than losses, in tournaments and friendly games. Not saying it's highly competetive, yet not bad also ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
I’m not arguing it can’t be done @KedzioR_vo What I’m saying is that most competitive lists I see or run against are lacking that flare of flavor I personally enjoy. I too have a higher win rate than losses with my Ramah, and often bring as many turbans as I can. I can only get away with this at small events or with friends however.
