When ABH with duo wasnt in iss fireteam list - this duo was unlegit, because no such skill as fireteam. And ONLY fireteams from list is legit.

But when we talk about vanilla and teampro, i think we must go deeper? I need a break

 

Buffing/fixing automedikit is an interesting angle. I wonder if CB would ever consider it.

You could take an Engineer or just two flash bots depending on your priorities. It's silly, but I like it. I might run this sometime.

 

That's where IJW and I don't see eye to eye. In my reading, the Duo skill itself allowed the ISS ABH to bypass the Sectorial Army List and form a Duo even if they weren't listed back then.

Keep in mind, with TeamPro you don't need to go any deeper. TeamPro allows you to form Duos without being a Sectorial and Duo skill allows two TA HMG Zuyong to form a Duo because they are the same unit and the Duo contains a model with Duo skill.

It doesn't go deeper, it goes shallower. You don't need to refer to a list of allowed fireteams. It's a bit more simple and a little bit stupider, which is good.

 

Lately I feel like trying to play Infinity is like getting an engineering degree. Not sure if it's worth the effort and headache.

That is a very interesting idea.

I'm not sure it would fix what is wrong with Krit, but it is very interesting.

I feel really conflicted, because I was asking for HI engineers for IA way back in the day.

I think trading the Automedikit for EM Immunity (combat engineers have better shielding for when they're using EM weapons to clear monomines) would fix a lot of Krit's issues. Would probably save 3 points, too. And that would definitely make Krit worth taking compared to a Haidao Engineer in the Zuyong Pain Train.

So Krit in generic can make duo, using teampro supportware, with any Zuyong profile and with the Guijia.
Kinda makes sense but… it makes look odd the fact Tai Sheng doesn't count as a Zuyong in generic. Henceforth the initial confusion.

 

It's still awfully expensive, even for vanilla, but the duo is MUCH better supported there than in IA:

I believe there is now enough data to answer the orginal question. "Is CB trolling?"

The answer is Yes.

I think they paired these two profiles up to try and make sales. Sure the duo is a little interesting from a game play stand point. These profiles are not good but the models are great if not amazing.

So yeah get trolled on the table and open those wallets beacuse we know you will buy awesome sculpts.

 

I think it's ok to like and buy good sculpts on their own merits. I won't be using Krit, but I'll buy his model like I did the Guijia (both versions, in fact). I'll paint him up and he can form a Fireteam: Duo with the Guijia on my display shelf.
