If you've ever assembled that model (and I assure you, is a pain in the ass to assemble) you'd know the missile launcher is not attached to any of his hands and/or arms, so you just can take it out of the blister easy enough.
A friend of mine did exactly this – he put the sword in the Swiss Guards left hand, the right hand resting on the missil launcher. It's not that hard and looks amazing.
Only problem with that ML fusilier has, is that it is now an obsolete design since Magister and most of JSA now have updated ML model. But yeah, ML is completely separate piece so a very easy conversion to do.
Well I would call it more repositioning than conversion..... But here is what I have done to my Uhlan. BEWARE of Potatocam Sidenote: I pinned the guy on his Base
On page 12 I posted some WiP pictures of my growing Druze Bayram Security force. Now there's two more almost finished guys for this army - the characters - Arslan and Saito (after a bit of head swapping and overplaying with hair :P ): I'm going to add some more detail to Saito's helmet and the braid. And I'm also working on another named character, or ex-named character ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
Has anyone tried converting one of the combi rifle Order Sergeants to hold a Spitfire? Looking for some advice.
Sorry, i didn't made pics from the process. But can tell what I have done. I cut the arm at his elbow, filed a little bit so I could align better and don't need putty. Then I filed the shoulder joint that the arm fits under the backpack, pinned the arm to the shoulder. The I greenstuffed the gap in the Armpit and sculpted the Myomer-Muscle. And as I mentioned before I'd pinned him to his base. I use Micro Art Studio Bases and the mini pretty steady.
I like the idea because I did something alike. I gave the HRL OS Stephen Rao's arms to get my own Konstantinos. The original Konstantinos is a nice Mini but I hate it when a mini has a big meele weapon and have shoty stats.
That sounds easy, but won't do, as I got a pack of three Combi Rifle Sergeants and I wanted to convert one of them. I'll probably just cut deeply into it and try to greenstuff the arm.
cut the combi and use a specops spitfire, if you are careful you can use the hand from the combi to the spitfire, otherwise sculpt/ use another arm
I swapped the arms of the SP OS and the rocket launcher OS from the new pack. >>>https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...hatve-you-got-going-on.287/page-14#post-96608
Can't believe I haven't seem more of this Tarik conversion... Just a quick arm swap, had to cut, rotate and bend the elbow a bit for a more natural position, but overall took maybe 20 minutes to do, and I think it looks pretty nice.
