Pretty easy for those wanting to do it themselves:

90% chance of failure (no crit) on 25 independent events (25 total dice rolled) = 0.90^25 = 0.0718 = 7.18% chance

 

Heh, I used Sheskiin in five games in a row and didn't get a single crit with her either. That's just some crazy math probabilities, mate. Don't worry, there will be a game where she will crit in every single shot she makes and will feel extremely OP because of that.

That happened the first time I played her. Every time she did anything, she crit. Even dodging spec fired grenades out of LOF. She crit like 12 times that game and I stopped playing SEF, went back to TAK, took a break.

Now I'm playing Vanilla and running her as a Rambo. She gets a couple crits here and there, but she usually just wins on weight of numbers.

 

First time I ran her post-update, she was in a full core and took 10 orders to kill a single Unidron.

 

I like that people are now complaining she doesn't crit enough. lol

 

You guys should see the tournament batreps I did recently involving sheskiin in a 5-man core link. She lost so many f2f rolls in the active turn it's not funny xD

In one game, she fired at a single helot at good range. 18's on 5d vs 11's on 2d (or whatever the helot bs is). Sheskiin loses and fails three saves in a row against the fire damage.

We can clearly conclude that she is underpowered and needs some kind of ranged accuracy buff.

 

I mean I once moved into CC with Achilles vs a Chasseur, dodging the light flamethrower ARO on the way in. Failed the dodge on a 15 and four ARM saves in a row to burn to death and put me in LOL. Shit happens in this game, and I love it haha

 

The game is not about shooting...too random. Like being in Casino, you always have a chance to loose :(

 

I have yet to trigger Sheskiin's crit-on-one ability. I've gotten regular crits with her, though.

 

Last night I didn't roll a single crit with her but did roll a 1 when I was on 21s haha

I've watched those a couple of times Both of them the ones from 4 or 5 months ago and the latest one... I'm hesitant to want to theory craft with her as she's so expensive...
I'd like to see you do a second army review of Shasvastii TBH Vaulsc... Now that things are up and running and you've been playing with SEF. I wonder what your thoughts are.
