Idle as ARO towards Camo declaring move+move

I've actually got to disagree with you there. While "Smoke Dodge" is a terribly mangling of various game terms, what it means is not ambiguous. As @inane.imp points out above, saying that you "idle" as ARO is unclear and conflates a wide variety of mutually exclusive scenarios.

 

anyone point out for the beginers that "Holding" will also drop you out of HD. its pretty important as a means of fishing for TO snipers

 

So.... What's the correct verbiage for "Smoke Dodge" anyway?
(Because I fucking do that all the time, lol)

 

Just say you're going to throw smoke, or ARO smoke, or whatever. Smoke is a Special Dodge, but it's not a Dodge, so calling it a Smoke Dodge declaration is a thing that doesn't exist, and leads to misunderstandings with newer players.

 

Technically it would be "BS attack with a smoke grenade"

Because the "Dodge" component is independent of the actual act of throwing smoke and relies on your opponents choices as much as your won

 

The Short Skill declared is BS Attack, just the same as any other BS Weapon.

 

I smoke your BS dodge attack.

 

Ow. Bad Bob!

 

We just say model is gonna chuck smoke at X point.
