Well, fellow space samurai, ninjas and yakuza bikers, JSA is about to get an actual slot as a vanilla army with a separate sectorial in like two months!!! Woot woot!

Congratulations to you guys on becoming a Full Faction! I also love that the narrative has you turning on PanO to take what you deserve!

I wonder, how would it be with fireteams and etc for actual units.
But I am looking at it as something good anyway.

It was seen, that JSA had attention morenthan just an NA2 faction. Now we can see why)
I hope, they would step aside from near feudalic things...

I'm really afraid than they'll focus the sectorial in all of the most traditional japanese troops (ninjas and samurais) and left out things like Karakuris, ryukens or Aragotos...

Yes. That is a good question. And fair worries.
I hope, we would get also something hi-tech and modern. Ok, I dont need MSV 3 on all units or so, but some interesting tech things would be good. Karakuri is a good example. I doubt JSA reach good tech level that fast. But who knows?

Will JSA get new remotes? Will we still have access to Rui Shi and Lu Duan?
What sort of attack remotes suit JSA?

    Can we get a Gundam?

It's going to be really interesting how they choose what is sectorial and what is Vanilla and the themes of the sectorial(s)
CC seems to be getting a major overhaul so that's always going to effect JSA.

I have to admit I was willing to buy the new Rui Shi/Lu Duan box, but with that new announcement, I won't until further notice.

    I'm quite stoked for this.

Now I need to decide if I should complete my existing troop collection with the missing SWC box for matching Keisotsu now, or wait and possibly missing them out for some time to come. Hoping for a new Yojimbo though even if the existing catches all the essence.

Do we think existing Siocast Oyoroi will ever be rereleased in unicool plastic?

    From this video:
JSA will get their own new remotes.
Models will have basic Yu Jing weapons and PanO SWC weapons.

JSA will launch with 2 sectorials + Vanilla:
JSA Oban the Great Watch - The current JSA selection
JSA Shinden Butai - Will have among other things the new TAG.

Gonna have to rework some lists with the loss of Ruishi but I'm excited to see what we get.

Its possible that we keep the Rui Shi in the Oban,Great Watch sectorial which has been described as basically the JSA we have now.

The New Sectorial looks like its going to be thematically the forces they send to this new planet so some sort of expeditionary force which could bring some interesting new elements.

I think it is a strange choice though personally because going all the way back to our Yu Jing Sectorial days JSA was a Shock Army used as the tip of the spear in any given operation which would have made sense to me to be the forces you send on a expedition type campaign.
That would have opened design space for the new sectorial to be Garrison troops and like an new Imperial Guard.

I am regardless excited to see what new units this brings.

The rules may suck but I'm over hyped by the minis. Weak me.

Anyone else like how the Shikami in the starter pack got +1 BS and a Multi-rifle and went down 2 points? I wonder if the point system calculations will be changing.

This single change makes it one of the better shooters in JSA as BS13 and Mimetism (-6) on a climbing plus model is great.

Yeah. Lots of hype if those cards are accurate. Some people are whinging on the loss of stealth and courage but since these are the demo cards for the new "C1/Essentials" products I doubt those skills are really gone since in C1 those skills don't exist.

It also lost the "Specialist". I hope that's just because the starter missions don't use specialists at all.

It would be easier to just use the YJ ones. Assuming JSA is able to produce them. But the S4 ones could be made unique.

That would be a good move, but requires also a jump to 10 or 11 pts for a basic trooper.

One sectorial will keep the current style JSA, so I think the other one will got the reinforcments (maybe they will split),
of course the new TAG (maybe with a polished ruleset) and some fresh ones they did not show yet (and I bet one, that is just a bit too good and we have to wait one or two years until its release...) and hopefully JSA will get an AD troop. Sprinkel in a dose of older troops and we are done

PS I wouldn´t interpret too much in the cards - it was clearly said its for "Infinity essentials" the new C1.
