Really? You need data on prevalance to state that no, 50% of tournament lists aren't Nomad-GML lists? Don't be of bad faith here... ;)
Not just nomads. ForCo, DBS, OSS, Onyx, HB, and O-12 also heavily leverage this because it allows them to not only kill LT's but key elements of the army without risk. Yes we would, a sneaky guy with a dep rep while more order intensive is often just as easy, even it is a suicide run. If you could trade a 20 point skirmisher to enable you to delete their main assault piece/ fireteam and cripple them you would, and it does happen quite frequently to any army that is able to do so (hell I even see pano pulling this shit on the regular). The biggest issue is that there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO counterplay to a GML alpha, beyond reset and pray.
Jazz is the most egregious example of the issue, and her power level is very much related to why this is an issue. Vanilla Nomads/Corregidor are the ur-example of a shitty gameplay style, and overall that gameplay style shows up quite frequently in competitive play. Because part of the point is that Corregidor gets way too much stuff compared to the other Nomad sectorials.
How do you adapt when a player w/ a repeater net kills your lieutenant top of 1, and all your attack pieces after your first turn?
Probably not, most of the people I hear dont buff KHDs from are people that dont play nomads and dont want them getting better because everyone is now on the same playing field when it comes to hacking.
I read your post in detail and addressed it in detail, but you didn't read my earlier post because you're saying I said things I didn't say. And you're still doing that. When I say that KHDs *SHOULD* provide a counter to an overextended repeater net, I'm not saying that they do. But you seem to not be able to understand the difference between WHAT IS and WHAT SHOULD BE.
We've found something the other day which is probably not too common an occurrence: Placing stuff inside buildings with interactable doors that are otherwise closed, thus not allowing a valid trajectory.
Citation needed. White Noise being in a faction or not changes how its gameplay works dramatically. No, that's not true. Their hacking and gunfighting is on an entirely different level. This is untrue. Corregidor was lacking White Noise and beefy TAGs for longer than it was lacking infiltrators. So lacking White Noise and durable TAGs is a more important "restriction" for it than Bandits' presence, or lack thereof.
Assuming they haven't covered 100% of the approaches to it, and assuming that it doesn't lost a FtF roll on the way in, and you stick the landing? It's very dodgy to have a *chance* at a fair game. Again, just running a repeater net setup in your list means your opponent has to take risks to make the game fair.
Uturn doesnt do anything, you need to put something like zero pain back in in greater numbers. That just ends in further DTW spam degeneracy and repeaters in locked rooms where you cant dig them out without extreme cost. And not to mention that unless you are playing in TTS interiors are a nightmare and if you are using an interior you rule out being able to use the roof and vis versa.
One, what meta is that, and two, there hasn't been an Interplanetario since N4. Also I know at the last Interplanetario someone scheduled the rounds for like 75 minutes in length, meaning most games went to two turns even if you played fast. That's not how Infinity is meant to be played, really.
It really hinges on the terrain, but I've found it to be not much of an issue with adequately modular terrain. Corvus' Terrain is really good for these kinds of interactions, as are many MDF based series. It adds another layer of complexity and decision making to the game and it's nice to shake things up a bit. Not sure it would be feasible as a balancing mechanism, though.
Absolutely not, as Jazz is largely absent in most of all tournament lists while you claim you encounter the issue in 50% of your games. You're not even being coherent with yourself. Several people explained you several times that your problem is about pitchers/GML (amongst a gazillion others things...). Say it. I can see that big vein on your forehead as you're trying not to. G.... Gu.... Gut.... So what? It still doesn't change that issue into a Nomad-specific issue. Open a dedicated topic to discuss repeaters/GML issues. You're being repeatedly off-topic here, we are going round in circles.
