If you bothered to actually read the article you googled, you would see that the part you highlighted refers to a follow up one-shot manga that was written following the original BnP "shotacon hentai". I legit cannot believe where the argument has deviated at this point
Sorry, Samaritan base is actually SMALLER than it should've been. So the difference would be even bigger. At this point you're obviously a troll. Also, the bases are off by less than a pixel.
No dude you're the troll. Hence the troll behavior with an image of the samaritan compared to the new Karakuri. Only trolls do what you just did. You know it, that's a reflection of who you are.
The samaritan image was 100% a troll, obviously. (A bit more obvious than your Garuda comparison) But I like that you didn't comment on the fusilier image. Did that one not fit your narrative? Are we still complaining about scale? Should they halt the production of Fusilier?
Despite development already being complete by the time development of the Su Jian began. Also "Reinforced steel. The karakuri's durability is like the time turner in that Harry Potter book, or the hyperspace suicide attack in that Star Wars movie. Everyone is an idiot for not using it to solve everything. Well that's why we have STR and saves right? Fail all 3 saves from an explosive shot and it blew up all the essential components. Fail one or none and you lost no essential components. It's already sufficiently represented. So why the extra layer to make it so that armour piercing explosive weapons, the very weapons designed to counter hard targets, become small arms when they hit a Karakuri?
I had a continuing back and forth with @the huanglong and quoted you in a few instances about that. I did not participate in whatever you were claiming I did when you grouped me with the others. You can claim I'm biased and that would be right but everything I posted was specifically calling out bad actor behavior that does not contribute to a discussion. I don't have to check everybody and hold everybody accountable I had an argument to be made in a specific case and called them out for it. Stop whining and throwing fallacies out there just because I didn't come to back up your ass arguments specifically.
So i feel like there is multiple arguments happening, you seem to complain about karakuris from a powerlevel perspective? And OP was originally about a design perspective
How are the other Total Immune trooper only taking 1 save? Total Immunity is always an abstraction of the rule. It feeds on the "terminator" trope. And the Karakuri are perfect candidate for it.
It's too big. It's also a poorly executed nod to contemporary pop culture. But that's just my factually accurate opinion. She's a small human, if she was made of solid steel she would not be able to defeat an anti tank projectile. The karakuri is smaller than her. It is made of not solid steel (because it moves), but somehow defeats the anti tank projectile. Also, look how much they had to shrink the HMG to fit with the other fusilier woman who shares parts with her by the way, you can't even recognise it as a HMG on the table it's that small. I'd call that out as objectively bad design but I'm running out of room in my palms for all these nails.
It's bad on all of them too. Total immunity is a terrible rule that should be removed from the game. High STR does terminator trope just fine. The T800 is badly damaged by a pipe bomb, not even a shaped charge. Did you watch the movie, it's good.
Like you said in the post you quoted me in, it's reinforced steel, and steel reinforced with a self healing multiply redundant Teseum weave and a nanotech repair system directed by a quantronic intelligence. As for why all the Japanese armour doesn't have this system? Same reason every PanO trooper isn't wearing Swiss Guard armour with an MSV3 on top: - Cost - Logistics - Game balance
I complain that the design does not match the statline/powerlevel, and that total immunity is a bad rule that is better represented through other mechanics in the game.
Getting circular again, it's silly that it's restrict it to the sex robots when they are an older project (completed before the su jian started). Why AVA 2 in Ikari if so special. Imagine the tech bee gets swiss guard armour and the swiss guard is running around in a thong.
There are so many things that don't make sense in Infinity if you think too long, why doesn't everyone carry grenades? Where does a Fusilier store their spare magazines? Why is William Wallace wearing a kilt? Why are people carrying swords when guns exist? How does Duroc's equipment still fit when he transforms in midair? If a small robot being tougher than an armoured human is what breaks your verisimilitude, then that's OK. But others can justify it within the bounds of a science fiction setting that already requires a certain amount of suspension of disbelief to enjoy.
One day I'll get to making that all TAGs should have MSV thread I've been planning. Seriously it's today's tech, TAGs have tonnes of optical sensors, and the equipment can fit in an Asura's eyeballs, a Kamau's helmet or a Taagma's ski goggles. That it happens to be the most influential battlefield technology in INFINITY makes it not being standard on TAGs even more stupid.
I think all Fusiliers have MSVs in the RPG representing PanO's technological superiority. But the RPG is less concerned with things like balance, competitiveness, and factional interplay.
Naa, my garuda image is not for trolling, I borrowed it from someone else and then the old Karakuri garuda comparison was provided. Your problem is you think you know me. And honestly, I have no clue what you're talking about referring to a fusilier image. I have several people blocked because of harassment and there's way to many people talking shit for me to keep track of it all just like you. Way to go assuming again.
And there it is, you say you ain't about shit talking but you couldnt help yourself right then... that's not a fallacy, you're just a hypocrite. That's the definition of whining, when people catch you in your own allegations.
