This fallacy that CB doesnt make mistakes is a joke. CB has admitted to making scale mistakes in the past already. And you're asking me to define scale for a unit when I'm comparing it visually to the whole range. Moderators were some of the smallest figures in the whole game. Unless CB didn't actually slap these on bases and what we're looking at is photoshop. I dont think its wise for anyone to wait till they unbox these to test their scale to the rest of the JSA range, yet alone the rest of the game. Let's be wise about this, if I'm right, it saves CB from over producing something that wont be bought. What would prevent people from buying it is if its proven that they are really small.

Again, this doesn't mean they're out of scale, it means they're small. Are they intentionally that small? Maybe. Can you dislike them? Yes of course. I have yet to see compelling evidence that this is a mistake rather than a stylistic choice though.

Them creating a mini that fits their vision of a unit cannot be “objectively wrong”. If I had any artistic or writing talent, and created a drawing of how I pictured the protagonist of my work, it cannot *be* wrong. Other folks might not like it, or it might not be to their taste, or they might not like the technical execution of it, but they cannot claim that I am wrong in my representation of my vision. Same here. You can pretty up your complaint any way you like, but this is a case where since they’re presenting their vision for the unit, there’s literally no way they can be wrong in their interpretation of their own vision. Again, you don’t have to like it/buy it/think it’s good/etc.

I'm willing to submit both claims to scientific method. You can go out and disprove the existence of Boku no Piko and/or explain how it's not trash/unsuitable source material for INFINITY. What about when they used two different characters for 'Jia' on the Guijia logo. Must we assume that their vision was for it to be simultaneously called Turtle Shell and Turtle Home? Or that they didn't double check their pinyin to hanzi conversion. CB's fumbled execution of their vision in this case does not change the objective reality that the design is wrong.

The results of the pill is separate from how people in this forum behave. Dont pretend like you dont know what I'm talking about. And as far as the poll goes, it is only one part of the infinity community. Just a month or so ago a poll from the fb group revealed a march larger participation that was almost unanimous and opposed the majority of opinions voiced here. And I'm actually certain what we're seeing here is more a result of antagonistic group think. Person reads comments before voting, comments effect opinion, and so on. Just cause this is a miniatures game doesnt mean its participants are immune to bad political tropes.

Does this not imply that being inspired by Manga makes the new Karakuri design less nonsensical? I was responding to it by pointing out how flawed this notion is.
