I agree with op, this is not appealing at all! They should turn all the kinks up to eleven and make some limited full weeb degenerate bootleg edition. With extra heads and stuff. And add them to Bakunin.
I did some size comparision with kempei mmr and they look fine. Image to prove in attachment. That Garuda comparision is unfair cos it is a really big robot for s2.
Imagine getting mad at the size of a S2 model because its smaller than the garuda that could easily pass for an S5 lmao.
The one thing this reminds me about is that this joint could use some community self regulation tools. Like a Downvote button. Which I'm really longing for right now. Desperately.
Don't mention Zhanshi SWC box or the (old?) Corregidor starter in the wrong parts of the forum ;) I've heard they used to have one way back and had to remove it because it was being used to abuse people, unfortunately.
Yeah this is bad writing and design converging. If this technology exists and is so easily miniaturised, JSA is horrifically stupid for not deploying an STR 5 total immunity remote TAG. Just another example of how total immunity is a bad rule. The stats are too good for what it is meant to be, and what is total immunity representing that couldn't already be represented by ARM (damage resistance) and STR (damage tolerance). As for not liking the design, is there anything left about these things that is Karakuri inspired? Lol randumb kawaii murderbot lmao. It's Japan, get it? It's so puerile. These designs would be fun for new unit. For Karakuri they are karucrap. I don't know if they *should* halt production. I expect the money involved is more precious than the approval of a minority of nerds on the internet. But please, develop some taste and stop liking what I don't like. This is supposed to disprove one of the most durable models in the game is too small?
Size doesnt mean its automatically less durable tho. And at the end of the day, its a game, why are people malding because the size of the models isnt correct. Karakuris are perfectly fine at their size because they match normal humanoid's size. A karakuri isnt a Yaokong nor an O-yoroi
Now come up with a reason why the O yoroi' or Daiyoukai's solid armour is not made out of the same material as a Karakuri. They have solid armour panels larger than limbs with moving parts on the Karakuri. Before you go with "it might be rare", keep in mind that they are AVA2 in Ikari Company. It's a miniature game.
Size doesn't necessarily mean less durable in real life. This is a game, though, and the visual information is part of the product as a whole. There's a reason why Team Fortress 2's unit design has been lauded as genius. Being able to assess a part of the game at a glance is an important part of adopting a game system and historically impossible in infinity because visual information is meaningless in this game. A sword held prominently doesn't mean a unit is good in melee, a thick prominent armour doesn't mean the unit has high armour value, the complete absence of any visible protection can still mean quite high armour, massively oversized guns were only recently revamped to do slightly higher damage, units with mimetism is lacking camouflage identifiers, advanced technological camouflage isn't consistently modelled, bulging muscles doesn't mean physical strength, important characters often have unassuming miniatures, and so on. As designers for a game I think CB has a lot to learn still. Which isn't to say CB does all things wrong. Achilles does almost everything right and the entire Yu Jing range is remarkably consistent and visually informative (even if for example Tai Sheng is severely lacking ornamentation for being such an important character)
Dude, thank you, not just for the having legitimate argument whether for or against these things but just maintaining some goddamned fucking manners, everyone is aware of what a keyboard cowboy is, essentially the tendency for people to act tough and talk shit on the internet, since it's a number to this degree it's because people have gotten away with it for long enough because the moderators don't do anything about it and people are animals which begets the dogpile effect.
But they dont match normal size, yet alone MI or HI. They are smaller than the old Karakuri. That means that scale is off entirely. CB has made everything in the game bigger, this is obviously a step back.
Please tell me this is meant to be sarcastic. Poe's law is a thing. Don't try to take a moral high ground in this. I've seen your previous posts and "problematic" is the politest way I can describe them.
