I hope they keep this pose, or do a double hands forward like Iron-man, each arm transformed into the chain rifle and the Panzerfausts. Allowing the sculpt to be proxied as any of the loadouts.
Only if you didn't think things through first and cut the base tab. Only the Mk12 had both hands on the gun, but because everything was small except the joints, they all stayed together well.
They already have the one, so they'll likely all have their guns in-hand. I do hope they keep the arm-integrated weapons, though. Hopefully they avoid the Magister/Teuton treatment, where a cool mini-panzerfaust became a stupid big tube.
You miss understood me. And we are almost assuredly only getting. 3 models. There are 4 loadouts. It stands to reason that we will have one model wielding anyone of if not multiple weapons that all the loadouts carry. Left arm transformed into chain rifle, right transformed into panzerfaust neither hand holding a rifle, mk12 or shotgun. This one model will allow for players to choose what it will be without someone having to remember that that combination rifle is really something else etc.
Honestly, having a few extra weapon arms in the box would be very nice. 3 bodies, 8 arms (two of each weapon option). Its a little extra work and extra metal, but since we're probably only going to get a box of 3 that seems fine.
I like the new ones. I kinda expected sci fi Geisha gun bots a la GITS and I would have been happy with that. But what we got is more creative and unique while still being in a suitably anime aesthetic. Much as I love the inspirations I see I feel the models are better if they have their own internal life rather than being purely derivative.
I actually like the design, and it's easier to de-anime it than the robogeisha approach. Cut the pigtails, add some antenna, instead of cute faces paint something like this on the display mask (it's from Ruiner, very nice cyberpunk shooter, if anyone's curious), and done.
The designers have done an amazing job with JSA since day one, yes the model looks a bit out of place with the army, but that does not take away how amazing it is on its own, for me, it is a must buy model. As for O yori resculpt if we get one I would like to see twin swords bigger helmet ornament added thigh guards like the diyokai slightly ticker chest won't hurt, overall it would be a tough resculpt because the original is the best hand-sculpted TAG in the game
It was Fausto's first CAD mini for CB and kind of a proof of concept that lead to other TAGs like the Dragão and Jotum, followed by CAD S2 minis like the ITS 2014 Bounty Hunter sniper, Cordelia, Phoenix, etc.
The O-yoroi is a beautiful model, it feels unforgettable in your hand for some reason, something to do with balance. Shame it broke my heart.
I love the current O-Yoroi, but I'd love a sculpt that actually looked like it was doing something with the sword. There's also three areas that I think could be improved: more visual interest in the legs, removing the back fin, and giving the head a more cohesive visual style than "bootleg Evangelion." But seriously, I don't want anyone to think I'm trashing it. It's in my top 3 TAGs.
