Well, I guess that was my point. Your list is in need of a redesign or else you are going to get stomped. Two HMGs, you will find, will not help you. Yes, it is possible that your first HMG dies and is removed from the table without the chance of revival. Thats why you have Bill / Odalisque / Leila. The HMG helps you move up the table, but once you are close to the center, you can switch to the spitfire or bills rifle, or the AP rifle on one of the other Janissary. If you really wanna use two HMG, I can't say its a terrible choice, but in most games you will never even activate the second one. If you are very keen on the Janissary, how about this? Evangelizing your ascended knowledge in a condescending way is great way to stir the ire of your audience and elicit a response that is not desired. Even if the information you provided was actually good it’s not received well. Next time consider the approach a little more thoughtfully.

Mostly because it's the player who makes the list. Well, jokes aside, piloting lists you bring is very important in this game, and I guess this is what that "it's not your list, it's you" means, but I feel that it should not be taken as "lists don't really matter", only as "lists alone won't carry you to victory".

Maybe you should consider listening to it.
I mean lists don't really matter very much in infinity. As long as you have some specialists. I have always had success just bringing units I think look cool.
I agree, one aspect I liked about him was that he was a cheap tag. Something big on the table to draw attention away from my fireteam. The N3 version was cheap enough that you only needed to trim a little bit out of your army to fit him in while keeping a decent fire team and enough specialists. Now its a matter of building around him and either going light on the fireteam, or light on specialists.
I feel that the Iguana took his place for the cheap distraction. Of course, he is not that sturdy, but he has an HFT for close engagegements and in cover still have arm 9. Put him in suppressive fire somewhere and the TAG-job is done. Scarface on the other hand now is a full TAG. All loadouts are equipped well and since he isn't frenzy anymore, he stays in good shape longer now. The big problem of being shredded in CC is mitigated by his stats, so that he can deal with most CC specialists on his own. So he is your guy if you need a more or less reliable big gun. Especially the alpha-loadout is difficult to remove, once he reached a good position. What bothers me in QK is the fact, that I need to take an expensive Wip 13 engineer, while I can take a cheaper Najjarun with better Wip...So in most cases I may end up with the Iguana and no need for an engineer, if I don't want to invest in a TAG-list.
Eh, I’m trying to design several lists that play differently. QK seems to run HI rather well, so I took a stab at when I thought I saw some lists being throw around. Why not? No mission was selected or enemy faction. But, now? Nah. lol I’ll just keep those reserved and learn on my own. I did get feed back. I listened. Some feed back was respectful and some was not. The respectful feedback resulted in two changes in range bands and more specialists. The non-respectful feed back was ignored then lectured to. For the record I think your point of view is wrong, and I disagree with some of the people on here. lol Ego? No. Would ego alter a list? You mean self respect. Maybe you should read all of the posts and not the ones you chose to. But, prove me wrong and layout the case detailing my hubris.
