Hi Got my first game with Dahshat. Most of our profils remain the same but the most important rebalancing of the faction appears to be the tactical window format. I feel like Dahshat compagnie is less impacted by hacking thing but still no killer hacking devices but it might be just a feeling how do that TW contraint change your lists ? What are the biggest changes for you in n4 ?
Dahshat got some great stuff!! Zuyong are better and still get the Rui Shi team. Gained the Ghulam Lt +1 Command and NCO Hulang is better and had better support in Dahsaht than in Yu Jing I think Sforza is actually better and now has +1 B on ADHL Maggy is fantastic More options on Hunzi-cuties Miranda gets Multi-Rifle and CC Attack (-6) Cheaper Liberto!!!
The hulang become a viable option with the strategic command token use allowing to put him in suppressive fire Very nice profil now ! The core has not changed so much :)
– Odalisques are as good of a CC option as Miranda now, the double flash pulse (I sense a sex joke here) SMG is interesting, and the Spitfire girl is more self-sufficient than ever before, lacking only the specialist profile. – Hulang can now go duo, sporting MULTI Rifle, while the twin SMG profile may become my favorite thanks to CrazyKoala. – Libertos are even cheaper now which aggravates me to no end. – Rui Shi is slightly less viable since it demands taking the EVO hacker for maximum efficiency. – TinBot TacAware Zuyong is cheaper and costs no SWC, are you kidding me. – McM is cheaper, but his Berserk lost the +6 boost. – Fasids with the new Sixth Sense are now great at countering MSV-through-smoke shenanigans but can no longer delay AROs with the enemies in ZoC, so being a roadblock for Speculo is no longer a viable option. – Bashis are now both cheaper and more flexible with the new Parachutist. – Najjaruns are only 2 points cheaper than the Dozer, so they are pretty good now as well. – Brawlers' HRL is now 16 points. Let that sink in. – Ghulams got an NCO and a Lt option with +1 CT. Gives me an excuse to use their Core with the Spitfire ABH as a point man. – Zhencha got Shock Immunity and a Panzerfaust instead of DEP for his SMG loadout, so he can defend himself in reactive relatively well.
I think Maggy getting Baggage is huge. You can have Zhencha, Liberto with mines or Hulang Koalas reload when she gets up to them.
Just came back from a hiatus and found out about N4 and non aligned armies. So far Dashat is one of the ones I'd play. I do have mostly Yu Jing minies with lots of proxies. What are the key Dashat points? zu yong with rui shi link sounds cool, plenty of smoke too in the sectorial. Anything else? Not much in the way of hacking and few Lt options...what's the preffered Lt here?
McMurrough, he's just too good to pass up. Also, Valerya since she just got a Zapper upgrade and control enemy TAGs. Bounty Hunters: lots of them. Liberto: he's even cheaper now. Hunzakuts are your primary infiltrating button-pushers. If you feel like it you can add some Ghulams, named bounty hunters, Bashis, Hulangs, and Zhenchas. All of these are good as well. Fasid is now also viable with Heavy Rocket Launcher and is the go-to rambo option, so if you want a solo fighting piece he's your guy. I almost never used Kums so take it as you will.
So it seems like Fasids not having Shock Immunity is intentional huh. May I ask CB W H Y? I mean, I rarely go out into the midfield to fix him up with Doc+ but still, why? A pseudo-HI of Ariadna (Blackjacks, Ratnkis) got Shock Immunity. Why Fasid does not?
The Ghulam Lieutenant is the standard, either hiding Prone in the backfield or teaming up with other Ghulam/Wildcards in a Core. The Zuyong is the alternative for when you need a beefier LT who can withstand some damage, and the Brawler comes in a distant third for extremely niche applications, most likely if you're taking a Brawler Core.
Thanks. Liking both ghulam core and zu yong haris o zu yong core and duos/others. Also loving the abh...think I'll use them to buff the ghulam core everytime.
I believe I looked this specifically up yesterday (can't double check atm), but Hulang didn't have Duo listed in Dahshat as far as I remember so they can't join a Duo with any of the Dahshat wildcards. Please don't hesitate to double-check, though.
I'm a bit confused with the PARA CCW weapons...oda have only para ccw, abh have para ccw (-6) and rems have para ccw (-3). Isn't PARA ammo already a PH-6 roll? Read N4 but not thoroughly enough it seems...
This here. The -6/-3 is the stat modifier your opponent gets when doing FTF with you in CC while you use that weapon.
What about some kum bikers making a smoke curtain for the ruishi core. And even the lu duan could use the holo projector/holo mask to hide as more bikes. Duo maggy with rafiq sounds appealing too (with valerya on the core your hacking game should be good enough)
