Looks like you cant place rem driver on another model. (At least i cant find it in the rulebook) this kinda kills dakini/apsara for me.
OSS changes: Danavas: No AHD option, HD+ with Upgrade: Oblivion (+1B) Shukras: Buffed by changes to Strategos, got Discover (+3) Devas: Are Wildcards now, HD with Combi, KHD with BS Posthumans: Balanced for the better. Mk1 a bit more pricy, Mk2 lost Hidden Deployment (might be a bug), Mk3 got AP Spitfire, Mk5 FO costs 0.5/13, Mk5 with Mk12 got Triangulated Fire instead of MMLX. Sforza: Got FTO loadout counting as ABH Andromeda: Got MA3, CC Attack (+1 Dam), Immunity (Shock), Guardian buffs her considerably, too. Parvati: Is a Sophotect on steroids, and a Wildcard. Yadu/Shakti: All Yadu have now Duo, Haris, and Number 2. Shakti's Trinity has (+1 Dam). Asuras: Aside from previous spoilers - hackers got Upgrade: Trinity (+2 Dam) Marut: Got Gizmokit (like most TAGs, I think), and Strategos L2 is now a bit different. Netrods: Are Veteran now :D EVO Probot: Changed due to changes to hacking. Rudras: Dodge (+1"), Wildcard, K1 Sniper instead of K1 Marksman, Red Fury and MRifle got (+1 Dam). Nagas: Additional BS loadout without Minelayer, no basic Combi loadout (there was no reason not to take FO, anyway). Monomines are still in. Dasyus: Same as with Nagas, Combi only with FO. I'm not counting minor point changes, minor CC changes, etc. All AHDs are HDs now, of course.
Yeah, got that. But it looks like it is fixed to the model. So no swapping between lets say Dakini MSR/HMG.
Is Remdriver still incompatible with assisted fire and enhanced reaction though? It doesn't seem like it is.
Rudras also had their K1 Marksman replace with a K1 Sniper, awful trade tbh. But proper wildcard which does some GREAT stuff.
Notes on what I noticed For OSS: Asuras: cleaned up, Hacker LT is LT2, and got Trinity +2 dmg as upgrade, is very nice. EDIT: SWC discount on the LT2 SWC versions Dasyus: cheaper, AHD is now KHD, no LT profile Deva: Now Wildcard, now all Haris & Number 2, AHD became KHD Garuda: no more HMG, but cheaper and combi rifle version is a forward observer specialist Lamdas and Probots now cheaper Posthumans: Mk 1: Doctor and engineer now more expensive. Mk2: more expensive, No longer have hidden Deployment. Mk3 now has AP spitfire, might be worth it now. Mk4 SWC discount, Mk5 FO more expensive, no longer has nanopulsar Shakti: +1 dmg Trinity, Number2 CSU: nanopulsar versions now have +1 Burst Trisha now wildcard Rudras: now wildcard, K1 version now sniper instead of marksman rifle, other main guns get +1 DMG Andromeda now cleaned up Danavas, only one version, has oblivion +1 burst Yadus: cleaned up, all Haris & Number2, Hacker now regular with +1damage carbonite Dart: Bioimmune now just shock immune, Mine version has a regular bow, not viral like the EM grenade profile Apsara: unlike other REMDrivers, has set stats instead of bonuses, Not worth it for a Rudras in my opinion Now we also have Parvati as a 2W wildcard, might be worth it at 38 pts. I think Apsara might still be worth it for Dakini fireteam. If you expect facing Impetous troops you won't get much use out of Marksmanship anyway.
Hector is a big up for me, especially while half of Achilles is broken? +1 CC base profiles down 6/7 points LT profiles are Strategos L1 and +1 LT order, Strategos L1 by itself was buffed and in this case gives two regular orders right? Stun grenades replaced with regular grenades, big for the spitfire, seems a little weird for plasma rifle. and the usual swc discounts.
Well i meant if your Apsara puts her Remdriver token on a Dakini HMG, nothings stops you from having your EVO bot put Assisted fire on it too right?
And BS 13 SMG isn't bad for a backup trooper, especially when it buffs one of your REMs along the way. It's not an exciting unit or skill, but it'll do.
Apsara is fine, definitively simpler than before. Garuda changes are huge - specialist option AND cheaper now. This is so awesome. Also awesome: cheaper, better Marut. Andromeda being Shock Immune helps a bit, but still meh. Parvati being STR2 means it's not overpriced massively. Makes her very interesting - sad that Sophotect didn't get discount then :'( Also, don't look at Nomads new REM after you take a look at the Rudra. XD
Can we talk about this: vs this: 11 cheaper and an AP Spitfire? HOW? Only V2 has Frenzy, okay, but Frenzy didn't get changed as far as I can tell. Guess I'm gonna switch from V1 to V2, okay no problem, but HOW?
somehow one was updated and not the other, which is very strange. Put it in the list with Diomedes not changing at all and Machaon getting worse.
