Guess I dont use duos much. I thought all duo members needed duo for it to work. That makes the skill much more useful. (And all the units I have ever used it with before have all had duo as a base unit skill)

Thank you for making me look that up. I can see myself taking it alot more now.

What are the overall thoughts on the Mk12 on the Unknown Ranger?

Solid, good range bands, high damage, no swc. He's got heavy pistol for close-up

Thanks! Hopefully a new mini will follow. The standard UKR mini is not great.

    He still feels too expensive.

    It's a good toolbox.
Toolboxes always seem expensive, especially in a force of cheap stuff.
Pricey is often worth it though, especially when the rest of the faction is dirt cheap

It’s honestly the only profile I would consider using. Good range bands mean I can try to get in someone else bad band, and leverage mimitism/cover to ensure a good outcome. I felt it was about useless to take such an expensive model with a standard rifle. And without Shock immunity I felt the Molotok was again, too expensive and required him to get dangerously close to the enemy. I also seldom had the SWC to spare.

With the MK12, I feel like he could jump in an aggressive Marauder link and do really well pulling them and Rosie up the board (I still think the MM need a basic overhaul before they are really usable).

Yeah, the molotok is same range band but higher burst, it's actually safer to use as the extra burst gets you better ftf % and crit rate but the mk12 saves swc and has higher damage.
He's a decent enough piece. Usa are cheap enough to afford a couple of luxuries. For missions like the armoury he's a godsend

I've just put together my thoughts on the recent USARF Update, I'll add the link to the original post too.

Nah, I don't think it's a good toolbox. A good toolbox is a FO remote.

You're welcome to your opinion, but this guy is a toolbox.
He's a CC guy that can neutralise even kitsune to a dice off, has a antimaterial CCW for hacking doors and objectives to bits, has a big gun, good BS and visual mods to leverage them well, has CoC for preventing LoL and giving him specialist bonuses for some missions AND he's got scavenger for panoplies or corpses. He's got stealth and links with no-stealth units for engage shenanigans, can tank a crit (non-shock obviously) and has good Phys and kinematics for engages or dodges.
    Oh, and he's a wildcard.
If that's not a toolbox, I don't know what is.

This guy is pretty much auto pick for "the armoury"

    Cool and well detailed guide!
Makes me to think if I would use this sectorial army force to create tactical ”Finnish” forces instead of Russian cossacks...

I’ve been playing US Ariadna in limited insertion and it has been a lot of fun. The wildcard changes really make for a nice minuteman link.

Are inferior infiltrating grunts permitted to try to land in the opposing DZ? Infiltration level 0 doesn't have the blurb that 1/2 have that prohibits the other deployment zone. Am I reading too much into it?

The big red box applies to all levels of the Infiltrate skill:

    http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Infiltrate

    IMPORTANT!
You cannot use Infiltrate to deploy inside the enemy Deployment Zone or in base to base contact with another figure, Marker, or mission objective. This is true of all Levels of the Infiltrate Special Skill unless otherwise stated in the Level rules or the conditions of the scenario being played.

So todays little video clip saw the discontinuation of the Desperadoes SKU. I only recently picked mine up (well in the last year) as I'd been avoiding bikers for a very long time. I kinda feel stunted a little but the bikers have grown on me over time and unless any new variants are exceptional, the originals will be good.

Thoughts on this? Did they need a new sculpt, new weapon loadouts possibly, do you see them changing slightly in N4? Was I missing something in seeing this?

It means they'll no longer be selling the model in their online store or providing it to distributors. Anything further is pure supposition.

Aye, I totally understand that thank you :) I guess I just didn't see that one coming and felt that it looked a bit odd all by its lonesome!
