the eyes - This do not help and make this strange effect - it would look better if you just make them dark without whites more natural - you paint upper lid and then dark line under it faking half open eyes i made this on Max Scorpio mini https://i.imgur.com/0e6nso7.jpg other thing is you will rarly c a whole aye it is usaly a half visible of a circle and a simplier example - just black half dot or black with a blick of white acting as a reflection on the surface i even got somwer photos of Exact same Ghulams mini ... just need to find them after photobuket apocalipse ... so Fix the eyes and make them less pail - if they are no Gingers / albino they got more colour in them
I don't even bother painting eyes most of the time, just leave the entire eye in the darkest shade tone of the skin. The only time I paint eyes is when the skin tone is very dark (African, Dark Elf, etc).

Ok i hope you will do something with base now it looks like she is standing among a watered down poop other thing is blue and purple parts is not best mix as purple is a mix of blue + red so it is like not new part but shade in already blue thing opposite / complementary is would be Yellolow goldis yellow but you already used it on this borders , so it is not best mix of colours

Sorry for double post. Ah you mean the Kujo Tutorial? I know him and talked a bit to him. Very nice guy and very good tutorial. It's basically what I used but with way more layers and way more time investement.
So if you are using similar way but invest a way more time and effort and get lesser effect - you are doing something wrong .
I have just twigged that Irmandhino's have Haqqislam rucksacks... cos they love stealing! Great work fella. Beautiful work on the scarfs.
I think you misread my post. I meant that his leather takes more layers and way more time investement than the leather I made. I'm also making a gaming piece and not a display tutorial so I don't have much time to invest because I've another armies and minis waiting up But yeah. I hope I get better with each piece so I can give the next ones better paint jobs. I'm also now really thinking of correcting the eyes. I first hadn't intented to do them right because Haqq isn't my main army ´but u really got me thinking in that I could do it better. Thank you!
Well I broke the Tiger in the final basing round so ... I have to fix him. Else I have to say I had really fun painting these. Especially the Hsien :)
Very nice minis. Finally Varnished and with bases. Very very cool. It is a shame that i hate your Hsien because of his critluck he had in our last game ;).
