Skimmed through everything and gotta say I like it.
Not so sure if the point changes are going to be roughly 1:1 in N4 but there are a lot of core rule changes I'm happy about.

What will likely be in N4
    - Electric Pulse is gone replaced by a Paralyze CCW -3, there's also a -6 variant
    - Engineer can fix all states and a point of STR at once
    - slightly toned down access to Flamethrowers and Nanopulsers, a bunch of things have just Chaincolts now
    - It's extremely easy to get Half Cover, any piece of your Silhouette is covered? Yup you have half cover. Cover discussions are annoying and the Active Player had a massive advantage. I like the change even though a TAG can now get half cover from a lamppost (which actually makes sense for a S2 guy tho)
    - Only half your base has to fit for the interim path of Move/Climb. You can just walk through some narrow gaps now.
    - No more Jumping into empty space, if you can't make the Jump is declared it's an Idle. Guess the falldamage shenanigans are done for.
    - TAGs can't go Prone, but REMs aren't called out. The Common Skills look fully fleshed out to me, that looks like N4 rules 100%. So REMs can go Prone now, funky.
    - IMM-A old Glue but you can cancel it with a Dodge-6. Also can Dodge-6 while IMM-A so you have a FTF although a shitty one. Also is what Stun/Flash inflicts now. New Ammo type for it is called Paralysis (PARA)
    - IMM-B old IMM-1 but with a -3 MOD and doesn't end automatically. Old IMM-2 doesn't exist in C1 yet, IMM-A mentions Hacking Programs though. Really like both of these
    - Dodge always allows 2" Movement, +1 for "Kinematika" levels even in ARO. Doesn't trigger Deployables/Equipment or generate AROs. Interesting.
    - AD like in ITS, no scatter, deploy on DZ Edge if you fail the PH roll.
    - MA Table: MA1 same, MA2 same as old_MA3 +1DAM, MA3=MA2+1DAM, MA4=MA3+1DAM, MA5=MA4+1B
MA 2 and MA5 are very very deadly compared to before. 3 and 4 aren't a big deal compared to 2 and 1 is still excellent to have a workable CC troop.
    - Medikit lost -3 to PH
    - Regeneration and Automedkit are the same and allow a free attempt to rezz (or heal if you're a multiwound troop) in the State Phase, nice.
    - Tageted works vs everything via Spotlight, has an ARO label, inflicts the state permanently till repaired/resetted, inflicts a -3 to Reset, gives +3 to BS Attacks, Comm Attacks and Hacking.
Guess Repeaters can be pretty brutal and having Stealth is important.
    - Parachutist, the usual walk on, now also for Ariadna.
    - MSR in Antimaterial Mode (DA Ammo) is B1 for some reason, may be a typo, why the heck would MSRs need a nerf? Okay, moving on.
    - new Deployment Skill to buff a Remote
    - We knew that already but Shotguns have a B2 DTW Mode. Intuitive Attack isn't a thing yet, but Discover+Shoot is going to ruin a Mimetism -6 dude's day. Getting to pick B2 FTF or B2 template after the other guy declares AROs is quite nice, not to mention always having the choice for AROs vs Skirmishers yourself.

What will likely just be C1
    - no LoL
Other then that most rules including the Cover Rules made a pretty "N3" levels of detail impression. Doesn't look like pretty much anything of the C1 rules will be changed for N4. They seem built to be expanded on, not changed.

    Points:

    - SMG Ninja vs Hacker Combi is just 0.5 cheaper, that's a lot less than the 11(AHD)/13(HD) this would be in N3. HDs appear cheaper in C1, but that doesn't make up for the difference. SMGs look toned down compared to Combirifles.
    - Orc HMG is 3.5 points compared to 44 now
    - Aquila HMG is 5|1.5 SWC (with MSV3 rules available in C1), compared to 62|2 now.
    - Similar things for Hsien and other HI that has all their stuff in C1. Daofei is just getting about 5 points cheaper. Barebones HI might be dropping a bunch of points.
    - TR Bots down to 2 points, huh
Assuming HMGs are cheaper in C1 because of smaller tables (0.5 instead of 8) we're still looking at a significant drop for baseline HI across the board across all Profiles.

Overall loving the changes so far. Doesn't look like too much will change. Crits are an improvement over before, a lot of oneshot mechanics are significantly less finite.
Hacking seems more relevant as well as potentially more annoying and that's with just 2 Hacking Programs and the basic HD without Repeaters revealed.
    There's no Shock or NWI/Dogged in C1.

/Edit: Not all HI got 6-2. Aquila, Swiss and Zuyong didn't, while Koj, Orcs, Shan Ji, Hac Tao and Hsien did. Yan Huo also got upgraded to 4-4. That means Orcs are FAST HI now. They actually have a trait to be proud of - today is a day to celebrate!
Wondering how the rest of the Knights will look. I can imagine Hospitalers get stuck at 4-4 while Teutons, Magisters and Santiagos get to enjoy 6-2.

Also Skills with levels are more explicit now. If you have Skill: Level #, only that level, rather than all up to and including that level.

I like the AD change, getting rid of the opportunity to AD: Combat Jump to downgrade into AD: Airborne Infiltration.

Well, YJ is focused on HIs more than we are. It's fair for them to benefit from it. TAGs being able to claim partial cover easier and shrug off non-AP criticals is one hell of a consolation prize for us.

A Jotum having near constant access to Half Cover hugging a foot tall garden wall is one hell of a consolation prize indeed.
You can pack him on a roof and just.... let the other guy try to clear him. This is is broke... beatiful, yep yep.

Dual Jotum Lists might actually be a thing, who knew... paging @daboarder

Important to point out a lot of the new 6-2 troops do not have Multiterrain, however the INSIDE rule mentions it and suggests it still very much exists. Assuming no chages "increased speed" is a double edged Sword, none of the new 6-2 YJ Troops have MT *laughs in Joan V2 and Achilles*.

It does seem a little odd that the super elite Aquila and Swiss are slower than the ORC. The Bøýğ kind of makes sense as the amount of mass makes them slower to build momentum.

I don't mind the 4-4 vs 6-2 distinction. Rules like Kinematika were never much of a consolation prize for YJ's superior HI, so I'm a-okay with Yu Jing have superior access to that.

Ultimately, both armies are still sprinting for an objective or to reach LoF with 8 inch moves, and that's perfect fine.

Well, if you're feeling spicy that's 9 inches of movement for Yu Jing on most of their HI.

The Code 1 rule for engineer says "► Alternatively, by passing a Normal WIP Roll, a Trooper with Engineer may cancel all of their target’s States that can be canceled by this Special Skill"

    (Emphasis mine)

It can cancel unconscious state but not just simply restore a wound.

All current Code One troops with Airborne Deployment also have Parachutist. Ko Dali does not, but I can only assume that's an oversight.

You also forgot about no veteran/religious/guts rules.

Also, no extra tactical options (coordinate orders, command tokens), but instead we got a lot of alpha strike options and I like that, because it feels goodly balanced: you can alpha strike with your specialized unit BUT there's a good risk/reward ratio for it. We will see a lot of new list centered around that.

Meanwhile, for now, 30pt list seems like a self-balanced game of big boys playing around, because of the one group limitation. You always wanted to throw all your HI at once to the ennemy? now there's a game for you!

It seems also that MI are all 4-4 now, while some HI can go 6-2, but everyone stays at a 8" total of moves, only exception of drones that range from 6-4 to 6-6.

Im hoping the MA chart translates directly to n4. Magisters will enjoy a nice boost from that even if they'll muss light shotgun impact templates

You get a B2 DTW in the trade and Magisters appear like excellent trading pieces to me somehow. The tradeoff is pretty nice, long ranged BS ARO, short ranged BS ARO, DTW, CC and Dodge on 17s? Sign me up.
Makes the other guys in the link more important as pointmen. But mostly ups your survivability since the other side can't FTF Shotgun Template you either.
If they keep MA2 they're going to be just deadlier. Fully do expect to lose Stealth on them and potentially a slight point increase.

Either way, Magisters look like they'll keep being awesome.
Now if MO can claim the same...

i'd honesty rather stealth stay, its pretty easy to build repeater nets as is. with promises of hacking getting stronger, i
d rather it not walk back all the effort being done to make HI more appealing .

The Aquila also has AP on his marksmanrifle which is nice in comparison to being slower. The swiss vs HacTao i don't get. Even before C1 i prefered HAcTao over the Swiss because of the Nanopulser and kinematica so this adds to that. (I really like DTW weapons.)
