So I swore I would never allow it to happen but Nomads has sucked me in. And Tunguska and Bakunin have got me the worst. Do you all think this is a good starting list to explore Bakunin or am I missing too much from the Reverend's? I don't own any bakunin yet but it will help me plan my purchases. Sin-Eater multi-sniper is so-so, 2 dice in aro will usually get overwhelmed by bigger burst. You want to fully exploit neurocinetics, you need more dakka, you should consider taking spitfire instead. Those 5 moderators don't benefit from fireteam at all. I'd swap one for a spitfire or MSR aro. With spitfire you can try some suicide runs on turn 3. They have 'meh' BS, but at least It will be 5 dice. HMG Taskmaster is a bit lacking compared to red fury. He's got a lot of tools on him. And for HMG shootouts Moira will probably be better thanks to her odd. List-wise - I'd probably shuffle troops a bit for 7 - 6, an attacking piece and 2 morlocks in each group. When enough of them dies merge groups together.
Very quickly looking at it (so points won't add up necessarily...), I am a big believer in a moderator fiteteam with msr, and a sineater with a spitfire. The sineater holds an area that you just don't want your opponent in, as it takes a lot of time and effort to down one. It's an area control piece, not a killer. A msr in a moderator link is more than enough to threaten warbands, or cover a long firelane cheaply. Personally I always use em morlocks, but that's a matter of taste. I would personally swap the taskmaster for the red fury version, which gives you koalas and a DTW. I would change the specialist riot grrl to a boarding shotgun, but that's a matter of taste. Give your daktari a zond bot. One can then heal the grrls if needed, the other the sineater. The list will struggle against linked msv 2 snipers in link teams, but frankly so does everybody. A zero with a boarding shotgun is a surprisingly good solution to them though. Personally, I would recommend as core purchases for Bakunin (I assume you have the remotes already) Morlocks box Bakunin starter Zeroes blister. Moderators box. Reverend healer blister Rev custodier blister (those two enable you to do the kusangi Harris, using the Moira from the starter as kusangi). From there grab zeros, Uberfall kommdana, Zoe and pi well, etc. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

This is a good start to a list, very close to where you need to be. Here's my version, with very minimal changes: First List ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 REVEREND MOIRA HMG / Pistol, Shock CCW. It is totally worth it to pay for all the extra gear. Koalas on a unit that is not a piece of shit is amazing. Sin Eater MSR often disappoints. Every once in a while you'll get a table where he can drop as a reserve and dominate, but in 2020 it's really rare. It's OK to run moderators with no special weapons because they suck no matter what they're packing. If you give them anything, make it the MSR. Missile Launcher / Combi / BSG is a good Haris. I don't like Riot Grrl Haris, but that team comp is serviceable.
Vs MSV2 and Warbands a Sin-Eater MSR is very similar in performance to a Core-linked Mod MSR. The real difference is Shock Immunity and SSL2 vs ARM3.
Yeah, the Moderator is honestly a better choice, since he's half the cost and usable in the active turn. Sin Eater has more raw power, but folks will come out of the woodwork to dunk on him. It's uncanny
Re: solo Moira HMG. @helsbecter How do you find it goes in the current meta? I ran it early on in playing Infinity and keep meaning to revisit it. Re: Riot Grrls. I gotta disagree with Helsbecter. I love them as an aggressive Haris. Stun Grenades and Hyperdynamics make them terrors in close. If you need the specialists Spitfire / Haris / Spec Ops goes well but if you don't then Spitfire / Haris / BSG. They're great for any mission you need to advance survivable points up the board. Re: Sin-Eaters. So Sin-Eaters live and die on crits. It's quite easy for opponent's to put them in a position where their only / only realistic odds of winning the FTF is to crit. Now you try to make this as expensive as possible to set up with cany positioning, but ultimately you often end up on relying on the ~18% odds of a crit. But to really benefit from this 'if in doubt pray for 1s' last line of defence, you really need B4.
Moira MSR is generally better against not MSV since you can leverage it in active. In Reactive it's <5% worse off than the Sin Eater vs common threats. While the Moira does better vs Spec Fire and on Discovers. The point though is that you can easily split these two functions into two different weapons: MSR Moderator and Spitfire Sin-Eater. This still leaves you with plenty of SWC for aggressive options. There's basically no reason to ever take a MSR Sin Eater given the other options in BJC. Edit: MB HMG is core-linked. This BTW is vs the HMG, which is decent odds if stalling a brute force approach.
She performs pretty well. 3 ARM and ODD plus a G:Servant is enough to grind down non-template AROs and most folks won't take the time to gank a single Moira in suppression. The only reason I don't like the Riot Grrl Haris is because they're so amazingly efficient I always take five. Normally I wouldn't be caught dead running expensive boarding shotgun profiles but the Grrls are an exception. Those shotguns have won me a lot of games.
Every time I suggest a strength of the Sin Eater you change which unit you compare it to, doesn't feel very fair to have to outperform other Sin Eaters, Moira and a fully linked Moderator against every target. Better range than HMG, better against MSV2 and WB than Moira, better against non MSV than Mod. But I will concede.
